Hey Jerry... Whatsup? get well soon hun! I have become a silent reader of this forum. I don't feel like writing anything. CHC Isloo has been so quiet! No good news is coming since new year has started. Its really disappointing to see no update, not for myself but people who applied in late 2011 or early 2012. Im down with fever and bad cough too It's already 4:15am here and I cant sleep coz of headache! :-[

Can anyone please confirm if IOM Islamabad have Female doctor ? my wife is worried and asking me because she received the confirmation email from IOM in which they said :

For All ages
As part of physical examination all body skin would be examined except genitalia so be prepared and wear appropriate undergarments.

Yes! Female applicants are called in room when there is Female doctor in the room and Male applicants when there is male doctor available in the room

So I took a couple of months away from the forum, since I was getting pretty obsessed with checking it over and over everyday. I took a some time today to look over a quite a few pages of comments, hoping that someone from the Ottawa pilot program had some good news, I don't think I noticed any real results though.

I updated my job with Ottawa a few weeks ago and they replied within 5 or 6 days that they will add the info to the file. Other than that, no updates from me. Anyone got some updates regarding the latest Ottawa Pilot happenings?

This Ottawa pilot program is scaring me as I am going to apply soon from my wife I hope it won't go to Ottawa. The aim of Ottawa program was to reduce load on Islamabad (already load is a big word as if we compare to India we don't even have 25% of cases filed compare to them (7092 vs 27745), yet they are able to issue visa to them in 4 to 10 months; feel like some kind of conspiracy toward Pakistani people).

But I feel like the affect is opposite, they are putting Pakistani cases in a cave in Ottawa and forgetting them. This is so sad and scary I don't know if legally there is anything that can be done. This is clear discrimination there must be some laws against these kind of practices ?

hello guys....i'm confused about the questionaire form IMM5490E....its so confusing...like they want to know about when did me and my wife meet for the first time and what gifts we exchanged while we never met before our wedding..it was a totally arranged marriage and we didn't live together either since she has to return bak to canada to resume her job....and i have been told that if we mention in the form that we never met or lived together then it will make our case ambiguous....what should i do..really confused

Delicate issue. However, you shouldn't lie or make up pre-arrangements. Just state the facts as they are and provide solid proof regarding the geuineness of your marriage. Basically state it was arranged, and you guys got married and wife left quickly due to job. Then provide proof of contact after marriage. (Loads of it)....

"Please note that we will no longer be accepting the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual – IMM 5475 or the Use of Representative – IMM 5476 for ATIP purposes.

Most marriage in Pakistan are arranged, so what is the issue ? they already know that, this is the culture thing. Does it really slow down or make trouble if the marriage is arranged ?

I do like menion my time line:
October-9-2011---> Medical
December-9-2011--->file transfer to Canada office
Feburary-1-2012--> file got transfer to Islamabad

So , i need to ask it been almosr year shall i write leeter or call them to know if my case came to process or how long it gign to be?
