I do like menion my time line:
October-9-2011---> Medical
December-9-2011--->file transfer to Canada office
Feburary-1-2012--> file got transfer to Islamabad

So , i need to ask it been almosr year shall i write leeter or call them to know if my case came to process or how long it gign to be?

Hera ur timeline is almost same as mine....my file was transfer on the 30th of jan....so i think we shud wait till the whole one year to complete and then we can ask them....right now no use of asking them anything.....

Ofcourse most marriage is arranged. (Mine included). This issue the member was stating is that he wants to prove his marriage is real. (Like everyone does). He didn't meet her before marriage (no contact no gifts no calls). Plus after marriage his wife left early (so not much time spent together). He's just a bit worried. (Which we all are). There is no issue.

Most marriage in Pakistan are arranged, so what is the issue ? they already know that, this is the culture thing. Does it really slow down or make trouble if the marriage is arranged ?

i hope everyone is doing good. I am saddened to see so many of us on the same train. I applied for my wife and received the confirmation letter in July 2012. I don't know where my file is right now, haven't recieved any updates yet. I applied from mississauga. By far this time has been pretty hard both on me and my wife. We fought our marriage and now this, but I guess this is life, you can't complain. Allah ka shuker hay!!!

Is approval letter different than confirmation letter where they give us a UCI number?

I tried a TRV once but got rejected, but I have learnt what I was missing. I will try again as I am used to of fighting for my rights lol ;D... remember me in your prayers.

Hi everyone. We received letter from cic Mississauga it states that our sponsorship has been approved and our file has been sent to cic Islamabad . U guys must have received such a letter which states where ur file has been sent

Yes, we have all recieved this letter from immigration Canada for stage 1. Now were just all waiting for stage 2 approval. (Which is more important)

No, they are pretty much the same. When you are approved then send you a file and UCI number to acess ecas.

any ways i m the applicant yes and InshaAllah going to settle in Markham
so you are the applicant as well? where you going to settle in Canada?
