I am returning to this forum i think after 4 or 5 months. I applied for my wife in Feb 2012 n my file was transferred in June 2012 for Islamabad. Since then when i check my application status under my wife's name, it just says application received and nothing else. So, i was wondering if someone can shed some light whether it is a signal of being something wrong with my application or its normal?

This is normal. You should not worry at this point. Apply for GCMS notes in June.

No, you have to wait for the re-med request. InshaAllah you'll get your re-med request soon.

If you have a representative, it will go to your representative. If not, then it will go to your wife in Pakistan.

Once your file reaches CPP-M for stage 1, your days start for stage 1 approval. (approx 50days now more or less)
After that you get file number/Uci number, where you can follow the progress of your file via ecas. (found on cic website)
Then they send your file to IsB or Cpp-O, for stage 2. Thats your prison sentence. (No one knws when your stage 2 will be approved approx 15-24 mths)
Notes can be ordered after a year or so to follow-up on your file and see if work has been done. (Its voluntary).

Can anyone please confirm if IOM Islamabad have Female doctor ? my wife is worried and asking me because she received the confirmation email from IOM in which they said :

For All ages
As part of physical examination all body skin would be examined except genitalia so be prepared and wear appropriate undergarments.

Yes there are female doctors present in islamabad. I believe in f-8. (Immigration approved MD from Canadian authorities)
