that's great you had fun! I haven't been to Houston but have been to Arizona many times and there is just great vibe in the south-west this time of the year. you know the sight of palm trees under bright sunshine in the winter is just amazing. i hope you are right about 2013!

InshaAllah, we just have to be patient and keep praying. Keeping the correspondence to a minimum will help I think.

I have similar timeline medical already expired feb application transfer on Jun no update from ottawa :( I don't know what they are doing, look like they are slower then Islamabad or they have special instructions that last priority for applicants from Pakistan. :@

Hi everyone! i am feb 2012 applicant, may 2012 file approved since then online status is application received. nothing showing for medical results. i had contacted my MP in oct who confirmed me that ottawa started reviewing my file oct 25 2012 and i volunatarily sent more proofs in nov 2012, but i havent heard anything from ottawa, my husband's medical is expiring this month :( did anyone got visa from ottawa??? i dont understand why ottawa processing time is 12 months but noone in the forums got anything from ottawa. i havent heard a single case completed by ottawa for pakistanis

Whoever is going for Med or Re-med must keep in mind that the phone 051-111-466-472 is not going their system is down. So for making an appointment email them or call the no. given on IOM websites for different centres in Pakistan.

Friends, I just got back from visiting my wife a few days ago.
Spoke to my MP the day I got back and asked him to make an inquiry. He spoke to CIC-ISB and he has told me the following:

  • my file is still in Ottawa and has yet not been touched.
  • The additional support package I sent to CIC-ISB on Sep 7th was forwarded to Ottawa in October and has been attached to my physical file.
  • He thinks that the Ottawa files wont be touched till the 18th month for initial review.
