Do anyone know how to contact IOM for Medical Exam? I received email from CHC Islamabad regarding Re-Medical. I called on the number 51-111-466-472 from a mobile but it cannot be reached. Any suggestions?

call them earlly morning ,,and try from land line if its not reachable from mobile...whts ur timeline

Salam, I want to know which service is reliable and cost effective to send docs to Canada? I have to send my medical police file and all the forms which required my signatures back to Canada so that my in laws can file the application. im thinking of DHL, is it good?

I would also like to mention, that my husband lived in Saudi Arabia, And i went to visit him and stayed out of the country for 8 months. I recieved a lot of criticism here for doing that and was SUPER worried! People were saying things like how my case would get complicated by me leaving the country and all. But altogether the process took 18 months for me.. which I dont think is bad.. and leaving the country did not have a negative impact on my case. I just provided them with my return ticket. and a letter from my work stating that I will be returning, also filed my taxes and all and sent them pix from my stay here with the add. docs.
Over all, going to live in saudi was GREAT, i got to perform Hajj and loved the country lots of Halal food lol. Sooo GO VISIT your spouses if you can!!!
We also made sure we didnt annoy them and almost never emailed them.. just remained patient and waited. Never ordered GCMS notes. since my lawyer said its better not to since it might make them wonder why we keep ordering the notes.
Our lawyer helped us assemble our docs in the beginning.. but overall he was pretty useless if you can do it yourself then it just saves you $250
We also paid our fees when we applied.. My hubby went back to pak to get his meds done.. since it was seemed a little sketchy in riyadh, saudi arabia. the hospital didnt know what they were doing and we didnt wna take any risks what so ever

i like to ask one question. Did they asked Police Character Certificate from saudia from your husband. How he get this one from saudia.
I lived in saudia two years and now i am in Canada. Near future i will apply for the Canadian Citizenship. They advised me to take the police certificate from all the countries where i stayed more then 6 months. I contact in saudia they told me that, they only give this how lived in saudia not to them how left it. One of my friend told me to contact saudi embassy in Canada. i Called and email them to help me out but its strange no one answered the phone and no replay of the email.

I also advice you if you have this, Please always a original one with you or at least a copy of this. It will help you in future. If you have any idea how i can get it let me know

There is problem with their system, i faced same problem while making appointment for my daughter, then i called on the no. Which they have given on website for karachi centre..Telephone: +92 306 292 2575, 307 537 1776....they apologized and ask for my contact no. And after few mins their agent called me to make appointment by himself. However, you can also mail them at mhdislamabad@iom.int they get back you within 35 hours.

While mailing them mail them your information like full name, date of birth, type of visa, passport no. Nationality, and country for which ur applying

leopard courier s cheaper its around Rs.2400 while dhl will charge u around Rs.3200

ok, so we received gcms notes today...it shows CPP Ottawa as my primary office and Islamabad as my secondary office. Eligibility, criminality nothing is started...I had no clue my file was in Ottawa..it has been a year since we files the case and even though our office is Ottawa nothing has been started, I thought Ottawa was gonna be faster

Can anyone tell me about how strict CHC Isb is about the deadline for submission of documents that they mention in their correspondence letters? I am in Canada on a student visa. My husband sponsored me while I was in Pakistan. I have received a letter from CHC Isb to submit my passport in the next 15 days otherwise my case will be closed. I am finding it extremely hard to get a flight back home on such a short notice. Though, I have informed CHC Isb about my problem and told them that I would reach as soon as possible but does anyone have an idea how strict they are about their mentioned deadlines?

Walekum assalam,

Don't take the 15 day deadline too serious. Try to send the passport within 30 days if you can. You can probably get a flight back easily after Jan 15th as the airline rush goes away by then. After you land in Pakistan, send your passport to CHC-Islamabad via TCS along with the necessary signatures and photos.

I concur. Not only are we jealous but we also take considerable pleasure in putting the other man down.
