A question for members here. My wife's mailing address in Pakistan has a spelling typo at cic Website. I notices it last month and sent Ottawa pilot an email They said the can not proceed with my request since my email does not the exist on the system. Before anything else i need to send them a letter regarding registration of my mail address with them. I've double checked the papers and the address i wrote on the papers is correct. The mistake is not on my end. It is only 1 spelling typo in street name should i pursue it? i am afraid it might lengthen the process even more. I would really appreciated the advise.

if its really big mistake then let them know if its still readable then its ok..thats my opinion

it is readable. I think there is only 1 street with that name. last spelling of the street name instead of "N" They wrote "B"

if they send letter with tcs then its no an issue.. but cant say about pakistani post

I have a question to ask. I applied for my husband in April 2012, and ISB office request for more doc(work history, address) in oct 2012. Do u guys think that i should go and visit him start of 2013, or do u guys think that my hubby will get ppr by march 2013.

Ecas has mis-spelled the address of many applicants. (Mine included). DOn't worry, they have the right address wriiten on the forms. (The ones your wrote).

Secondly, its always a good idea to provide them with an email. Saves alot of headache.

I m a husband case. Our file received at cpc missi on 29th oct 2012. We have not received aor yet. Is it normal?

Hello everyone,

Haven't been on the forum for long. Just an update, my husband had contacted his MP and we were told by him that our file has not even been touched yet. He said when they receive our files they just put them in a Que and after several months they open to see if any documents are missing or in complete and send docs request if needed and if everything is complete they go bk in the Que. He said only very few people get visas in 9 months or so and that only to meet the numbers for e.g 20% got done in 12 months. He told us that we will have to wait at least 8 months more. So yea, I am a JAN 2012 transfer so just wanted to give heads up to everyone to not expect something like crazy, try to stay busy...I went super crazy waiting all this time but since the mps update we are just moving to the US temporarily until we get passport request or something. Meet your spouses, make trips if possible, this waiting game is pretty unpredictable. Good Luck everyone.

Well, 2010 k jo cases delay hoye hain wo 70% cases Nikah cases they but i think 2011 aur 2012 mai Nikah cases i think 10% b nai hain so we hope k in future process jaldi complete hoga. In sha Allah
