I want to email cic to ask abt the progress of my file as I haven't receive anything yet file applied in july not even I single email I have received yet
can anybody confirm following
1.email address is question@cic.gc.ca is this right address
2.wat is client identifier?
3.wat should be subject of email?
Wat info should I give them applicants info or sponsor's info??

LAHORE: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has announced to abolish the tax on incoming international telephone calls.

The PTA has issued a letter regarding the abolishing to the tax.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) had sought a reply from the PTA regarding the levy of an additional tax on incoming international telephone calls.

Emailed Ottawa last night, got the same exact response within a few hours; at 11:06 EST.

ok just received a reply from ottawa and they said:

Dear Madam / Sir,


This is in response to your email (see below).
Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.

An immigration officer will be in contact with you if any further correspondence is needed.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.

Please clarify; "ecas" ? Is it the application status we see online usionf uci# or file #?

i called in immigration call center regarding the typo in my wife's mailing address, and the Rep told me i will have to contact Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa since my file is still with them, and has not yet been transferred to Islamabad. that is all she told me no further info.

May be someone here can help me understand does the file always go to Case Processing Pilot? a letter was sent to me saying my file is being sent to Islamabad. What is this Case Processing Pilot anyway?

looks like they had somebody on night duty. i recieved the response last night too- around 9 EST. lol. anyway what does this mean? is it actually being processed or just gathering dust?

Hello, no the file didnt always used to go to Ottawa. Ottawa Pilot is a recent program brought into place to ease the burden on other Visa offices. Anyway so early this year- CIC started transferring Islamabad cases from Missaugga to Ottawa. The impression given was that Ottawa would be helping Missaugga in step 1 and nothing more. However, after a while when people started inquiring (through call centers, email etc) about their cases they were told their file was still in Ottawa. So this means Ottawa's involvement is more than just sponsorship approval. There is more going on and yet we dont know exactly what.

Nothing to worry sis my ecas status also showing "Application Received" NO medical Result showing on there.

Sponsor should Email to Ottawa pilot regarding file status.

yes that is correct email. dsoul just send an email there- and make sure to include your File #, Client ID if you have one, DOB for both your and your spouse.

I need help from senior members here i am approved as sponsor did apply for my wife in aug its a nikkah only case.Now I am going to complete rukhsati in jan .My question is what documents should i gather during my stay with my wife and should i send any additional documents to cic isb to show that rukhsati done .
