ecas doesnt get updated too much... wait till ur sponsor gets approved, then it will say decision made, when they touch the file in isl then it will say IN Process for the applicant...

hello all

just want to share some thing which is a little confusing and different

1) revived confirmation letter from Mississauga for first step

2) revived letter from Mississauga for that file has been tranfered to Islamabad and in that letter they have clearly mentioned the VO address in Islamabad

3) Called call center agent confirmed file in Ottawa


no corresposndance at all after that and my madical is expiring on 1st Oct



what do you guys think of this

first case i have heard of getting letter and still being sent to ottawa.... but it doesnt take away from the fact that majority of cases are being sent to ottawa.... lets see if we come across anymore...

what i am really waiting for is to hear about or see a file that was in ottawa and it being progressed or completed...

Congratulations to you. You really have no idea how lucky you are. Can u share any advice on why you think you got processed so quickly?

we had exactly the same timeline except mins is husband case and file moved to ottawa
any ways keep us in your prayers..

This is perfectly normal. Don't get overly excited about online status, it seems like it's not always up to date.

Classic... It's so frustrating that some call center agents are so helpful, while others aren't any help at all....

Dont try to get info about your file from a call center agent. (Your probably know more about immigration then them)

You know what i kinda agree.. call centre are useless.. first agent told me my file is in ottawa, second agent told me my file is in islamabad, third agent told me my file is still in Mississauga.
