do you remember from when you started seeing status as "application received". Its been 70+ days for me and nothing appears online.

I was checking mine before I got approved on June 21- and it kept saying application recieved. Now it says Decision made.

The dummy meant that due to overload in mississauga, they sent it to ottawa for processing... Once u are approved there as a Sponsor, it only goes to ISL from there.

From wat I make of ur reply is that, u have been approved as a sponsor already through ottawa.. They only send email to let u know, even if it says a letter will be followed.

If u have ur case id, ie uci and application number then u r good, if not go through the email accnt look all over to locate the email, or call again and another agent of theirs will help u out, be polite and explain ur situation.

in that case... you will be getting a letter sometime soon... however, i would call them at cic-m again and inquire about the UCI # and application number... just let them know that how you are accessing your ecase right now, but would only like to know that information... and the main thing is you are approved (congratz)... be courteous and polite in your inquiry with them, you will be provided with the info, and once you get it, the letter is not all that imp...

there is no letter coming

they gave him by e-mail

he cant check his e-case without UCI

2. Could we get one person to update the timeline list? Either Gujjar or Khilafah, otherwise things get confusing and repeated.

landing has nothing do with ur sponsorship

u can check with ur payment recipet

i could actualy access my file with my record of landing #
and thanks hogaishaadi i called them today asked her for uci she said its same as your client id and you dont reall need the letter
anways i am approved as a sponsor thats what matters and again she explained me how my file is in ottawa its thier new project to expedite process i guess they will only send my application to islamabad if they have to varify some info locally otherwise it will be processed from here so keeping my fingers crossed ... good luck everyone !!!!!!!

I received a letter from CIC today. My application to sponsor was approved and the file has been transferred to Islamabad!

Just want to update my timeline:

Application sent to CIC Mississauga on March 13 2012.
Application received at CIC Mississauga on March 16 2012.
Application to Sponsor approved - dated June 21 2012.

Hi, I am finding it hard to believe they will process step 2 of the application process in Ottawa. You did get married in Pakistan, didn't you? If what the agent said is true then that means less files going to Islamabad and faster processing times for both Ottawa and Islamabad. Its a win-win situation for all
