Even though we had 1 year old son with us at the time of interview in 2006, the immigration officer 'Faryal Hussain' in Islamabad said that our marriage was not legally admitted but was for getting Canadian Immig. Funny thing is that my husband is also my first couusin and we know each other very well. Still the VO said the marriage was not in good faith.

Now that we have two sons. The elder one is almost 7.5 and the younger one is 2 years old.. I don't know what would be their response this time.

As shocking as it is..it seems unreal..didnt u hire a lawyer to fight ur case? I mean there has to be something that arose their suspicion..otherwise they will rejected everyone by saying that

Guys its almost 15months since application filed but nothing heard at yet when we all will be getting over this torture No one knows

If your file is in Ottawa you have a right to complain to your member of parliament whoever in your area after if the processing time has exceeded over what is published on their website for Ottawa. When I came back from Pakistan last month I asked my MP to do an inquiry and he gave me a very positive response about the processing time. That is what i got from my Member of Parliament.

I am October 2012 applicant. I have received a letter from CPCM that my file has been transfer to Islamabad for further processing and did not receive any response from them .How much time are they going to take for processing ?

today after almost 4 week i got email reply from CHC islamabad its really rude..

Salaam to everyone and spacialy for DINO5541 thank u so much for ur best answer brother I am realy depressed about this waiting game I do know why it is only for us other country ppl get there visas in months may alha help us , brother I have another question as I saied i am very depressed and Iam seeing a concealer well it help if my family doctor or my conceller give a letter for immigration to speed up my application ,well it's help to do this or no thank u once again I realy appreciated

Usually members get an idea from ordering notes.

Or if you get re-med, which is usually an indication that your interview has been waived.

At times immigration will send you a letter stating you are in queue for interview...

I remember back in the days when Pakistan had a processing time of 8 months (2006) I believe. There was a family friend of mine, who got a letter from a psychologist stating that she was depressed. Which allowed her husband to receive visa in 3 months. But those were good days, I don't think it will work, give it a try....

I am thinking if I should try visit visa or soon there will be re-med and PPR?

File Transfer to ISB, April 2012, no further updates. Online shows application received Jan 2012 thats it
