I sent an email last night to this email address you mentioned (9 PM Calgary time), got a reply within 30 minutes with some generic information and telling me that my application is at Ottawa office. Not sure if they are working late shifts to cover the backlog .... too good to be true i guess

Dear it is sad to hear that it has been 8 years and you still your husband not able to get the visa, send email to OTTAWA pilot project with info of your file number and UCI number, they will reply if they have your file or not, coz the letter you get from MISSISSAUGA says that your file transferred to Islamabad but sometimes it gets transferred to OTTAWA like in my case, my file is in OTTAWA and they have confirmed it to me,

their email address is ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca

its so sad. people get their visas within 15 months and for us, we dont even know if our file is in Ottawa or Islamabad!

Anyways i am sitting at doha airport .. flight to Karachi in about 4 hours, inshAllah.

and just to let you guys know I took a flight from Calgary to Houston thru united and mashAllah it was pretty smooth. and then at Houston airport they didnt even do the security checks. I got off and went towards my gate .. it was shocking for me. and then 14 hours to doha and now waiting here.

No, they are not working late shifts at all. Actually, they are computer generated response that they send out. Many folks are getting responses quickly. (At times 10mins). They probably created a program for us Pakistani's, whenever we email, "baam" generic response lol...

Hi Guys,
We also applied in Nov 2012. Within two weeks we got two emails, First one says that our application is received and after 3 days another email came to me saying that your sponsorship application is approved and the file is transferred to Islamabad. Both emails from Mississauga off. The email also give my UCI no and a file number for my husband.
Our e-case also shows that application received -- and that is all. No more correspondence ever then.
My question is: Both the emails came to me only in Canada and not to my husband -- even that we put his right email address on the file.
We are worried bcs this is the second time we are filing our case.
Firstly we filed in 2005 and the case was denied in 2007. Its been 8 years that we are married. We have two sons and I live most of the time in Pakistan.
Plz guide me if the processing in isb is getting faster or no. Thanks

dont need to worry files now a days are going to Ottawa and the will be intially processed in Ottwa but visa will be isued by ISlamabad want more info on this go back 50-60 odd pages back on this fourm you will get it and the summery will be the same as i have mentioned it




secondly the issue regarding waht it says online or to be more specif on ''E-Cas'' dont worry about it too caz i have the Exect same situation infact you should be happy atlest your ECas is working caz you will find people whos Ecas is not working at all but it doesnot effct ther cas and there cases are still bieng pocessed (2009-2010/2010-2011/2011-2012)

so the summery is E-cas is unreliable but its human nature we are curious and we end up checking it every day (like me)

Even though we had 1 year old son with us at the time of interview in 2006, the immigration officer 'Faryal Hussain' in Islamabad said that our marriage was not legally admitted but was for getting Canadian Immig. Funny thing is that my husband is also my first couusin and we know each other very well. Still the VO said the marriage was not in good faith.

Now that we have two sons. The elder one is almost 7.5 and the younger one is 2 years old.. I don't know what would be their response this time.

dear reply over that response from Ottawa and ask them if you can send them additional proof of your continued relationship, ask them if they want you to send the proof via email or regular mail, that is what i did and they replied that either email or mail, lets try and see what they tell u
