I got a rate of PIA from Toronto to Islamabad at $1440. I normally don't travel with PIA but thought for a direct flight it's a decent price. What say?

yes I have file number too and I get same error with file number.

I guess some applicants have problem with their ecas so don't panic and you are doing it right so no worries

I am stuck with palak gosht here, and aunty air hostesses who don't even put ice in my drink . I do get your point though.. Last time I went to London to attend a wedding from Air Canada and then from there took Kuwait Airways to Islamabad (DELICIOUS FOOD).

I have been told by a couple of people that any applications filed recently will be processed fast (they have quoted 6 months, which I am very skeptical about) and the applicant will be allowed to come in Canada on temporary visit visa and will be on conditional PR for 3 years before they are given PR. Thoughts?

may be they r mixing with new policy of spouse visa,,which says that when applicant get visa he will live in canada but get PR after 2 years

Yes I think so too, there is no where I heard the new policy is to bring spouses faster on a conditional basis. Its frustrating when these people are spreading the wrong information around and I feel bad correcting them and crush their hopes. But I have to correct them so they are realistic when making their future plans.

people say so much things about immigration but thats not true,,one lady told me that her niece done with immigration process within 6 month,,like she applied in may and reached canada in dec,,i was like wow,,i told her give me her number so i should ask her wht she has done in her file but when i talked to her i was surprised to hear her answer she said basically it took 20 months but we told our family when we got remedical so all relatives know that they applied recently and basically she got remedical in may but they told everyone that they applied in may,,
