ok, my file was transferred on July 18,2012 so I should expect my file to be completed by Dec 2013. Are you going to be sending any more documents/updated proof of relationship voluntarily?

im trying to check the ecase, but every time I get this message:

what im doing is:
1st go to cic main page,
2nd selecting check application status from right side and selecting sponsorship from the drop down menu.
3rd on next page selecting sponsoring a spouse common law partner living outside Canada.
4th after 2 pages, I select client ID number/Unique client identifier and put my UCI number as Identification number. then I enter last name of my wife her dob and pob. and when I hit continue I get the above error message.

tell me what im doing wrong here?

You are doing it right, did you try signing in with ur file number or u dont have one yet?

if ur using UCI then u have to use ur wife's date of birth and place of birth coz UCI work's under sponser's info ,,,and file number works under applicant info

It was too late before I got replies from you, and just got Robed by DHL. It cost us 12,500 RPS (about 120 Dollars) , that package was about 2 KG. But still it is too expensive, I think it include Zardari Jagga tax. There was about 2000 extra for fuel charges, and 1800 for GST tax. I don't understand why on earth it was so expensive. I just checked DHL here and to send 5 KG packet (cloths etc not document which are cheaper to send) it will cost me all included 100 Dollars.

Now I hope I will receive it on time and in good condition as I am stress because of all original documents in it.

u know wht when ever ur using couerier service from pakistan for US or Canada always use TCS or skynet or leopards these three are cheepest,,and they use DHL for courier ,,i used skynet several times its safe and also leopards

Wow thats too much! I just realized that my husband works for a logistics company and they get discount when shipping thats y it was about 3000PKR

You are doing it right, did you try signing in with ur file number or u dont have one yet?

With UCI number I use my own info and with the file number I use my husband's info who I am sponsoring. Hope this helps!

For the past week, there has been a glitch with ecas. It should resolve soon according to cic call center agents.

I have been told by a couple of people that any applications filed recently will be processed fast (they have quoted 6 months, which I am very skeptical about) and the applicant will be allowed to come in Canada on temporary visit visa and will be on conditional PR for 3 years before they are given PR. Thoughts?
