Thank u guys kasam-sa,r.mujgani n sweetsr...lifted mg spirits just to hear few gud words :-) its monday again....begining da week wid new spirit
But one question what background chks when they r sending me da letter sayng " UR IMMIGRATION VISA APPEARS TO BE READY FOR ISSUANCE"!!!

You're most welcome n3z. And from my forum studying for the topic in question, background checks vary for every individual e.g., if your husband was in army, or traveled abroad, or changed quiet a few addresses in his life, all these factors weigh in on background checks. I read somewhere that CHC-I actually puts a lot of effort in making sure that what has been said in application form is true to the tee. Once they line up all the Ts and dot all i's, then they move on to next step. This actually explains why wife cases are generally faster than husband cases because most of the times there's no job history etc, to confirm for women since most wives are stay at home or school, university attending individuals.

That's my understanding so far. Maybe an experienced member can chime in here. Also, if someone has been through security checks can maybe confirm how extensive background checks are?

Thanks hubby chubby. Also, should I ask for my GCMS notes yet or wait? And if wait what is a good time to ask for GCMS considering my timeline?

In my opinion, if you don't hear anything from them until end of May or June, you should apply. For now, wait 2-3 weeks, because if there is any progress in your case in the month of May, you won't see it in your notes if you apply now.

Seychelles is great honeymoon destination. Must've been fun. It shouldn't be too bad for your security checks except for the 2 month stay in saudia. But even that is a normal destination for pakistanis. hang in there. The lazy asses in chc-i will soon send you ppr.

salam all,

Yes I got 2 time GCME notes, I am also sponser of my wife like you.
and yes you have to apply behaif on her but directly from your side.

you need to acting like her representative.
