Allah ka shukar hai me n my baby landed in Canada feels great to with my hubby.
Pia flight was good. A airport immi officer dint question me much, instead they were nice enough to get me out of line as I was holding my baby, so my immi took a totally of 5mins wth stamp and one question regarding address.

Totally immi time, may 2011-feb 2013.
Islamabad had my passport for 5months.

May Allah help everyone in immi progress, and give us all reward for our patience. Ameen.

How much weight of luggage is allowed by airlines?

hello everyone, when should i expect my passport back i applied for the renewal on 14 feb 2013 as urgent ...................need to go for remedical and have heard without valid updated passport they dont do medicals ...plzzz pray for me everyone as have got remedical request and ppr request and have to send beck these with in 45 days ...

Hello Everyone!

Its been a while i haven't been on this forum. I am not selfish but i just didn't want too.

Anyways as you all know my wife arrived in Canada safe and sound. Immigration officer did not ask her anything. She brought some gold too and was never asked anything about it. May be she was lucky.

The immigration officer did ask her my mobile number and that was pretty much it.

Her PR card was mailed and we received it about a month later after her arrival.

Life is in full "Chill Mode" as i get to eat home cooked food and someone is there to take care of me. The feeling is amazing and i really hope inshALLAH that everyone gets through this process quickly.

PS: Your expenses will hit the fan in the first month so make sure you have plenty of savings in your bank account. Moreover if you have sound job, then you don't need to worry about anything.

hello!! The UAN number was engaged when i was trying to get re med's appointment. so try this number is that happens with you as well . 021-34522393.
Or you can also send an email on mhdislamabad @ iom.int requesting for an appointment for remedical. they'd reply you back in a day max asking for details like passport number, D/O/B, contact number etc. Once you provide them with that they will give you an appointment.

i got my renewed passport back in 10 days. it was urgent too, but it was back in may 2011, so i dunno if its still the same.
i noticed angelheart that our timelines are similar, my application was applied in sep n was transfered in nov, when did your ecas change to in process?? mine changed on the 13th of feb

btw i applied for gcms notes back in the beginning of December, some time after the mid of Jan my husband got the confirmation letter that they have received the request but i never got the gcms notes. if i get my remed n ppr soon enough inshAllah i wudnt even give a damn about never receiving the notes

aoa guys y r few members gettng theirpprs win 8-10 days aftr change of their status? n few r still waiting for alomst 2-2.5 weeks by now?
n one question (i wonder if i will sound stupid geee..) when dis status changes dat means all our back ground chks r complete? interview waived? or does it mean our application has gone to VO aftr backgroud ckhs to make decision on file? i see ne memeber whos status was changed in dec 2012 ???
but since our few memebers pprs were issued da day after status change...dat means file was already reviewed n decision made,y else they wod b askng for passport?
wat i basically want to ask is when staus changes dat means we r out of interview que?background chks r done? all hurdles passed??
i just wonder how many of u turned their faces from right to left n left to right after reading my post ;D
