CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Thank you all for your congrats. I finally got it delivered today and the package contained all pics, videos, etc I sent as well. I am now waiting for my son (who is a Canadian Citizen due to me) to get his Afghan Passport stamped with visa.

I have a concern and question to ask if anybody knows the reply to. My wife is an Afghan Refugee in Pakistan and she has an Afghan Card that Pakistan has issued. My son who is 2 months old does not have an Afghan card or anything but was born in Pakistan and will be leaving with his Afghan Passport. Will they both be able to leave Pakistan by plane to Canada without having a Pakistan visa on their passports? I dont know how it will work can someone guide me

aoa guys y r few members gettng theirpprs win 8-10 days aftr change of their status? n few r still waiting for alomst 2-2.5 weeks by now?
n one question (i wonder if i will sound stupid geee..) when dis status changes dat means all our back ground chks r complete? interview waived? or does it mean our application has gone to VO aftr backgroud ckhs to make decision on file? i see ne memeber whos status was changed in dec 2012 ???
but since our few memebers pprs were issued da day after status change...dat means file was already reviewed n decision made,y else they wod b askng for passport?
wat i basically want to ask is when staus changes dat means we r out of interview que?background chks r done? all hurdles passed??
i just wonder how many of u turned their faces from right to left n left to right after reading my post ;D

I don't think anyone knows for sure. It seems it means something different for EVERY case. For us, it went into process, and about a month later PPR + Remed were issued.

Canadian one but no passport yet..

yes. Atleast my wife did.

Yes ofc you have to do it..

my husband did his first medical examination on August 2011 and re-medical was requested Oct 2012, Done Nov 2012.
my status went to "in process" since Feb 19, 2013. No news yet

With the grace of almighty Allah my e_cas status has been change into decision made...currently im n the class.when I see change in my status I totaly got really shocked and told everyone....thx from my all friends and their supports..love u all my dear brothers ane sisters...I pray that all of u get a good news soon inshallah
