Guys i did my remedical in july and submit Repcc in the end of september. my current Ecas status shows application received, so do i wait until it change from application received into process and expect PPR or i can get PPR anytime even before if it change into process????????????

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s), you may contact the visa office by e-mail, fax, or in writing as follows:

Question: On CIC's website to check the status it shows "Application Received and Decision made" but does not show whether Islamabad has received application or if they have got her medical. Does anyone here have any idea what's going on with my wife's case.

Because one of my friend he applied in Sept 2011 and his wife is already in Canada.

Hiii all Wana ask as well as share one thing I have heard,in order to implement new immigration law....old cases are going to b closed till end of december 2012...mean all 2010 n 2011(earlier cases) ..... Anyone having any idea.. Or have heard da same. If it is so.....den big cheeeers to allll Get ur bags packed n get ready to fly sooon in sha Allah So counting starts like....GET,...SET......... in sha Allah ,in sha Allah

if closed means that there will be a canadian immigration visa on one of the passport pages of all the applicants from 2010 and 2011 and also 2012 then ..... INSHALLAH INSHALLAH INSHALLAH.... app ka mun ma ghee shukker or chocolate or ice cream with flavour of your choice.

guyx help me i got my ppr today and in letter they r asking my height as. height(inches/cm)
how i can write this??? should i write my height in inches nd in cm too????

canada works with metric system so i would say go with CM .... other way is ok too but i would keep everything according to canadian system
because that is how its going to get printed on your PR card inshAllah

my wife's due date for criminal check already passed, it was Oct 25. Maybe I should order GCMS notes again to see what happened. My wife just recently sent out the additional doc's they requested. Should be there by Tuesday or so.

the new law.

i dont see anything different its same law other then the fact that sponsor and applicant have to say in their married relationship for 2 years

what difference does that make for someone who is doing it as a business

i think ... to really protect canadians from fraud and for this law to really have some biting teeth this time should be like 10 or 15 years or untill they have children .... mean while they should give applicant right to work pr or even citizenship .... because a marriage is not just for 2 years it is a commitment for life time .... but that is just my opinion

how do you know if it is with the decision making officer? is there somewhere on the GCMS notes that I can check this?

I got a reply trough my MP saying your file is with the decision making officer ...
On the notes its should at least say WVR / Registry/PA.
