hi everyone!!
im new here...just wanted to know after re-medical how long it will take for passport request.
my status says medical results have received ..its been 3 months now ever since my husband submitted his re-med but we haven't received any letter yet. i hope we receive it soon

we were discussing this in da earlier posts....you should be getting some kind of response in a month or so if you dont then kindly contact your MP....coz as per rule they have to respond after 4 months if not then there is something fishy goin on

Are you sure that there is a rule that chc-I has to contact the applicant within 4 months of the re-medical.

yup it was confirmed by our MP and someone who works in the immi section. A few other ppl on dis forum also agreed.

If you dont get a response after 4 months then there is something else goin on.

sis i am not bakin up masoud wat he is sayin is makin him look more stupid on this forum. He is doin this in purpise so he can get some attention here or jus needs help. Why bother wit giving attention to people like this its better to ignore then to give them the pleasure of gettin attention n this is/was ma point. I'm totally in Mujgani's boat for this storm. And my personal opinion/advice is that even though I in no way support something like this and find it horrible myself BUT you all are desperately waiting in line to move to a country where this stuff is EVERYWHERE. You're going to find pre-marital relations, adultery, nudity, drugs, liquor, pork... things that us muslims consider haram.. they are going to be there at every corner. And if you say something about it you're going to be considered an extremist. Its a sad truth. But we're still willing to go there because OUR country has so many other vices of its own. And for them these vices are bigger than theirs.. treating women badly, throwing acid on them, target killings, child labour, corruption, hypocrisy.. to Canadians these are bigger than adultery.

So it doesnt matter what one guy says he did, cuz when that 'decision made' comes, that means you yourself have also 'made a decision' to stop letting what other people do become a concern of yours.

Or have I mistakenly signed on a form that said they could keep the passports to burn as firewood in the winter. Its been 2.5 months already.

I am still in the process of gathering documents and applying for our immigration case.

For evidence of contact, I will be sending our Skype call/message history. However, Skype only shows last 3 months of history and no way of downloading/exporting it on my computer.

Does anyone know a way how?

Any help will be appreciated. Thxs.

Skype generally allows for viewing all-time history for as long as you don't delete or reinstall a program. For getting a hardcopy of your skype log, you'll have to take screen shots.Skype doesn't allow the option of printing the logs. It depends on the your phone OS that how you may be able to download it to your computer.

The average processing time as mentioned on CIC website is 26 months. However, it may take anywhere between 7(if you are too lucky) to 30 months (God forbid). The key is to pressurize CHC often (every 3 months) through your MP (which we didn't do ). They don't work if you don't ask them to.
