I believe that the whole point of these delays is to instil exactly this kind of thinking among Pakistani youth. There is no other reason which I can think of for it. I think if the visa office truly desired to speed up its process, they could have easily done so. But they want to give us this pain so that we discourage our friends and relatives from marrying in Pakistan. :

I am about 5 years older than my wife.....so I hope & pray they dont jerk me arround....

they did ask for re medicals, updated PCC and and ongoing proof of relationship back in June/
July.

What the *censored word* is this, have they never heard of a male older than wife getting married? I am 6 years older than my wife. What is the big deal with these people?! I didn't force my wife to marry me, she made that decision. My case better not go into interview, otherwise I will make them regret it. I am not going to fart around here for 5 years waiting for my wife. This country is nice, but it isn't THAT GREAT that I am going to sit here crying and waiting and stressing my life for 5 *censored word*ing years. I'll learn to live elsewhere and take my wife with me.
