Yup i did go through this web page. However, i do have one concern. On the web page it states that we need to present our marriage certificate in order to make the change. But on the marriage certificate my wife has her maiden name printed. I am now wondering if the requirement of the marriage certificate is to verify that we are indeed married and NOT to verify that the new name is stated on the marriage certificate as well??

yes, the requirement is just to verify your marriage for name change. on marriage certifcate everyone has their name exactly the same as on birth certificates...

They need the marriage certificate to verify you guys got married.

because at the time when the marriage certificate is issued by Quazi at that very point in time every girl's name carries maiden name
the decision of changing the name comes after your married
in other words how can Mr.Quazi marry a girl with a boy where girl already carries boys name in the husband section.

that sounds about right and it would be better if you paid it now rather then them telling you to pay.
that will only cost you more time.

Yup makes total sense. I was actually expecting Ontario govt. to ask for some sort of notarized document exhibiting the change. Ok, the process is fairly simple then...

I think You shouldn't be worried about it. Because E- Case system designs to show Canadian address. Sense our Pakistani or other Country Addresses are in deferent formats.

that's why E- Case always shows (Broken) address looks like incomplete but actually is not.

My also show incomplete. but I got letter on my actual address which I mention on application

I don’t understand why your consultant say not to pay full fee it’s not a good idea or not a good suggestion by your lawyer

I would pay full fee up front in order to get my case smooth and not to get other 3 month delay because of Partial fee.

this sucks some serious things... i applied December 1 2011, GOT THERE BULLSHIT THAT ITS BEEN SENT TO ISLAMABAD JAN 24 AND AS I CHECKED MY STATUS IT SAYS THE SOME AS IT DOES FOR ANYONE ELSE.....

SO HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE.... I HAVE VISITED ON APRIL AND CAME BACK JUNE... NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT VISIT...

DID ANYONE HEAR ANYTHING FROM ANYONE SINCE THAT BULLSHIT ON THE STATUS???
