I really need forum members help here. My process seems to be in the finishing stages thought my wife is pregnent so it may get delayed a couple months. Currently Islamabad Visa Office has the incorrect mailing address of my wife. My MP sent them a new address for my wife and I sent it via e-mail as well but it has not been changed as of yet. I just found out from my MP that they sent my wife a re-med request about 2 weeks ago to the old address and not the new one.
So I want to send them a letter via post from Canada cancelling the representative (old address), giving the new address and adding a doctor letter stating that my wife is pregnant. Is my wife allowed having an x-ray done without harming the baby if she is currently 4-5 months pregnant. If it is not safe does she do the medical without the x-ray now and do the x-ray after birth? Would I have to add my child in the sponsorship after he/she is born and does my child have to do any medicals or anything?
I have sponsored my wife since October 2010...and 2 times it has been delayed due to incorrect address. First time got delayed for 6 months as we had no idea they sent a document requesting more info (wedding video, contact, etc), and now 2nd time the remed was sent to the wrong address. Please someone tell me how to write the letter to the Visa Office I mean mailing address.
Thanks
X-rays are mandatory part of the medical examination. Withouth the X-rays, CHC will consider medical results to be incomplete. The ultimate decision of taking X-ray falls on the physician. If he/she believes that taking X-ray carries potential risks, then he/she will avoid this procedure. As a result, your wife will have to wait till after the delivery of the child to undergo full medical examination. If you are a Canadian citizen, the child born will automatically be considered a Canadian citizen. In this case, you will not need to add the child to your application, no medical examination or fee is required. You must, however, send CHC-I a copy of his or her birth certificate.
You or your wife must notify CHC as soon as possible of your existing circumstances. Try contact them again via:
i) E-mail: islamabad-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca
ii) Fax: 011-92-51-208-6900
I don't think you need to write up a special letter for this. Advise them of the address change and make sure you quote the application file no. in your letter/communication... perhaps start with the following format:
Applicant's Full Name: (First, Last)
Applicant's DOB: (Month/Day/Year)
Applicant's File #: (Starts with "F")
Client ID: XXXXXXXXX
Sponsor's Full Name: (First, Last)
Sponsor's DOB: (Month/Day/Year)
Sponsor's Address: XXXXXXXX
Sponsor's Phone #: XXXXXXXXXX
All the best, hope it all works out for you at the end
