hi everyone,

i received a letter "acknowledgement of receipt of appliaction" on 24 june 2012.
in which they written new UCI, application no starts from F and papaer file no starts from B.plz tell me what does it means. where my application right now?
any idea?
and this letter i received from immigration section, and on the very top of letter written "High comission of canada".
plzzzz tell me what does this letter means?

It simply means that Canadian High Commission in Islamabad has received your application to immigrate to Canada. The ID starting with "F" is your application/file number. Going forward, in any communication with CHC Islamabad you must quote this ID in your letter/e-mail. You can use this ID to check your application status online as well, however, online status is not very reliable or helpful at most times. It states "Application Received" when CHC Islamabad receives your application, it changes to "In Process" when an immigration officer opens your file for review, and then it changes to "Decision Made" when your immigration application is finally processed and you are either issued the visa or your case is rejected.

No further action is required from either you or your spouse at this point. If CHC needs any other information/document(s) down the road from you, it will contact you directly. Till then relax and stay connected with your spouse!

Decision Made 20th Aug 2012
PP back with visa 31st Aug 2012

same day I recieve PPR and Re-medical request....sent PP on 23-07-12.Please let me know if you recieve any updates.I'm from Lahore too.
