First of all congrats for you

Then would you please share ur timeline and would u pls tell us how much is the duration of the visa? I mean is the visa for 1 month or for 3 months? If u dont mind.

My current timeline starts from june 2011 when my file was transfrd to CHC-I,but this is my second app earlier we were unable to provide many proofs of my hubby's presence in ca,that file took 2 long yrs 2008-2010 n then they thought we shld apply new p.r app.so my actual timeline is may2008 to aug 2012.Visa is valid till med expiry that is one yr.
E-case starts showng app rcvd july 2011

AOR : MAY 2012

Remed rqst : june 2012

Med done : 30th june'12

PPR: 30th june'12 sent on same day

E-case changed to 'in process' :july'12

E-case chngd to Med rslts ve en rcvd :7th AUG'12
E-case chngd to Decision Made :18th AUG'12

Visa stampd : 15 AUG'12

PP recvd back : 30th AUG'12

i am soooo confused plz help me and give me sugestion:
my husband submitted my application to CPC missiuaga on 23 feb 2012
Then on 29 may 2012 my husband received a letter from missiuaga( in which written that he is eligble to sponsor me) in this letter UCI and Application no is written starts from FXXXXXXXXX .
Then on 24 june 2012 i received a letter from CHC islamabad the subject is " ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION" (in which written is that we have received ur application for permanent residenec in canada and created a file with a file no written as above............so so on)
and in that letter they give new UCI , same application no FXXXXXXXX and file no BXXXXXXXXX.( and in that letter they request for few additional documents and re pcc the said that we have to submitted within 30 days)
so i submitted on july 2, 2012.
SO the issue is this that my husband talks to Mp and the mp said after contact to the idiots that we received application in june and it takes 26 months.

i am so worried , should i apply for visitor visa????? because 26 months is toooo much

26 months is the worst case scenario. If your application is solid, i.e. you have provided enough proofs to convince that your relationship is genuine, then your case will be processed within 12 to 18 months. Politicians are useless individuals, don't listen to them!

You can certainly apply for the visitor visa but the chance of getting one is really really slim. Other members on this forum have gone/are going through the waiting period as well. Current wait times, unfortunately, are not abnormal so I wouldn't worry too much right now.

You got your AOR in a month. That is the fastest I have ever seen personally. Usually forum members say it take anywhere from 6-9 months to get AOR.
Well, Immigration officers do state it takes 26 months (worst case).
At this day and age, you are considered very lucky if your spouse arrives in Canada within a year.

UPDATE!!!!

Today My ecase is showing canadian address.

But its only showing brampton ontario,canada That's it ....NO house number ..No street number.

Any one else found this change on ecase..Ghussain,candian555,adilmk,Ad? ? ? ?
