1st thought its unfair but now aggree that its a good thing whoever get this shit over quickly is better off oresle,

its v long & frustating 2 wait.Its just killing m noW ! :'(

true that! strange criteria though! u did your re-med back in nov,2011, right?
2 months down that will expire again,,,GOD bless you finalize your application as quickly as possible.

i have been a silent reader of this forum since i get ppr on june 30,today BY THE GRACE OF ALLAH ALMIGHTY i ve recieved back my passport with visa stamped(E-case changed to dicision made on 18th august)i hope everyone else including Khushi Hamesha,Sarah82,canadian555,adilmk123,samnoo and everyone who is waiting will get their pp sooner then before,good luck remember me in ur prayers.

Then would you please share ur timeline and would u pls tell us how much is the duration of the visa? I mean is the visa for 1 month or for 3 months? If u dont mind.

how is it possible they have stamped the visa on 15 Auguest and decision made in Ecase on 18 Augest and it took 12 days that you have got the passport back .... :-[ :-[ :-[

I've read elsewhere on this forum that its normal for there to be a 2/3 day lag on Ecas.

No one will have a definite answer for you. It usually takes one to four months to receive your passport back, so you have to just be patient and wait for your "turn" I wouldn't check the online status anymore... leave it for now and occupy yourself with other matters in your life.

I saw this post on another forum, and gives a better picture of what's happening at CIC.
These are for the 12 months up to March 31, 2012. Measured in number of months from the time the overseas processing centre receives the application from Mississauga. For example, 50% of the cases were processed in x months, while 80% of the cases were processed in y months. The figure y would include the cases from figure x.
