I think 26 Months is the worst case scenario ( For example an Interview is required or any complexity with Particular Application). Otherwise it is between 14-16 Months.

i got the AOR in june 2012 and additional documents request together (like re pcc and additional proofs) so i submitted on july 2, 2012.
i haven't heard anything yet. should my husband contact the MP?
how MP meet like by he has to take appoinment or he can talk to him on phone? and what MP needs like UCI?
and is the MP office opens on saturdays. reply asasp.

I have applied for the GCMS notes (6 Aug 2012) ... still waiting?

It is husband case and it says medical result recived.....didnt recive any other letter....still waiting for PPR....what about urss???

Is there anyone here who got PPR via email cuz the medical was expiring and they asked if you can land before it expires?

In this case have you sent the passport and how long did it take to get it back?

mine is such a case, my medical expires on 25th Sep meaning I have to land before that; the passport was delivered last thursday (17th Aug) but don't know when its going to come back.

hi to all . today my MP called to me and she told me we had contacat with CHC islamabad and she told me everthing is fine with my application and she told me the CHC isalamabad will send a few weeks a letter to ur wife addresss but she said i dont which letter she said maybe it re_medical +ppr . inshallah

it means that you will get your passport back with visa before your medical expire.

hmm, yes but it isn't enough to get the passport back before the medical, it has to be come atleast a month before cuz I'd need time to wind up, resign and prepare for moving. has anyone been through this?

MP stands for Member of Parliament. You can not contact MP as u r in pakistan. your spouse can contact her MP in Canada and request for update on ur case. hope dis helps

i have not been thru the same process but if u have received passport request thru email and if you have already sent ur passport then my suggestion would be for u to give in ur resignation and prepare for moving to Canada.

my sister was given very little time meaning she was asked for her passport for issuance of visa 3 weeks b4 her medical expired luckily she had everything ready. She got her passport back with visa in a week's time n she was out of pakistan the following week.

i got "Decision Made" 4 days before eid holidays but still waiting for passport and i was about to ask forum if any1 else in the same boat suddenly came across your quote: i think tomorrow or coming week might be a big days for us [GOD WILLING]
