This is a husband permanant residence case processing in islammabad pakistan.

My application status on web site is
Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on December 10, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

i send first medical when i submitted my application at 10 Dec 2010 and in march 2012 embassy send me medical form to remedical

Is my status on the web sould be Re-medical Received or just Medical have been received.... ??

ecas changed a 10 days after to "Medical has been received"
Requested updated Police certificate in June 2012 , all done

Why is it taking so long to send the PPR ? my wife has no travel history other than to india few times?!

I went to see my MP for a quite word lets see what Islamabad says.

Hey we have Guatemala City for 26 month as well. I am wondering when Canadian High Commission- Kabul will start working. This will definitely take load off from CHC-I.

I strongly think it will come down in the next quarter to 15 months probably

hi to all . today my MP called to me and she told me we had contacat with CHC islamabad and she told me everthing is fine with my application and she told me the CHC isalamabad will send a few weeks a letter to ur wife addresss but she said i dont which letter she said maybe it re_medical +ppr . inshallah

CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Salam brother and sisters Im new here and I have some questions and concerns and was hoping some can answer them for me. I sent the all the necessary paper work on July/13/2012 to sponsor my wife from Afghanistan and yesterday I received this by a from of an email:

Dear MUSHTABA HASHIMI:
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of Khatera Hashimi.
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

with this email I also received my UCI#, now my first question is is it normal how fast it was processed here in Canada or is it within normal time?
2) What does PPR and AOR stand for?
3) I know no one can say for sure but how much more time will take in Islamabad that saying if all the paper work is correct and nothing is missing or questioned?
4) I cant access the "my application status" on the CIC website, i enter my UCI# and i have tried both my name and birthday and my wife's and still doesn't allow me to long in, any ideas?

5) and my final question is the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is that fee the needs to be paid when submitting the application? I made a payment of $1040.00 when I sent the paperwork and Im assuming thats the same fee?
Any info will help, as I have read some of you have been waiting months and years for ur spouse and I hope you can share your experience and knowledge with this newbie! thanks!

only you can be the best judge of your situation,
i say dont let an opportunity pass you by,
if you get the immigration thats good but immigration does not mean that there will be a job ready for you in canada
i say once you get your canadian immigration make a trip to canada get your PR and move to canada when the time is right

salam nawab jan qand che hal dari ? i will say for this is ok ur application right now in visa office in pakistan . but i dont know how long time take to send any any letter for ur wife . its a chance . maybe 10 months maybe 15 months . and when u want to chack ur application status . if u use ur file namber u have to enter ur family name of ur wife hashimi all inf about ur wife . if u use ur clint idi namber u have to use ur family name all inf about ur self . brother iam also from afghanistan . i sponsored my wife last year but its going about one year my wife did not recevied any letter yet. khuda hafiz lala jan qand agar kodam sawal dashti ba aminja benawis

Hi,
Did your MP asked for any permission letter or written permission from your spouse to access her information.
I contacted MP office , they asked me to get written permission from my wife , so we can access her case.
