CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

I am sick of looking at application status "application received" since 1 year. CIC-I guys are damn retarded

hello to all members

i submitted my pr application at 10 Dec 2010.
i got updated document and police report request from islammabad embassy at 22 Feb 2012 and i submitted all the information on time
i got remedical request letter in 10 march 2012 and i done remedical in Aprail 2012.
now more than 4 month has been passed and i did not get anything from embassy.

kindly let me know this timeline is normal now i am worried about my application...

I did remedical on july 18 and embassy get it on auguest....it was change to remedical recived...the status was changed in auguest

Buddy then u r lucky atleast they asked you for something.Inshallah PPR gona be issued for u soon.coz u have sent what all about they required.so am very sure you will give us a good news soon.
1 more thing buddy,may I knw which documents they asked to submit them,I just wana make my self aware of their coming request.your answer will be highly appreciated.Thanks

I had to redo 2 or 3 forms because we didn't complete them properly or left blanks. They also asked for a Nika Nama from the union council (We sent 2, one original that my wife had w/stamp from Foreign Affairs and another from NADRA). Also asked for more pictures (if we had any), more proof of communication, more proof of financial support an updated police certificate from all locations she lived at for 6+ months (so we sent 1 for Quetta and another for Pindi).

I believe that was about it. I ended up having to ask for an extension because we received the letter very late. I am just tired of all this garbage because of how our relationship is going. Allah knows best I guess...must be some form of punishment for me :/

You can ask your spouse to contact her local MP and request the minister to get an update on your application.

It has been 6 months since I applied for my wife's sponsorship and as is the usual case no activity after file transfer nor contact from CHC - I as yet. I am considering to be pro-active and voluntarily send them some additional proofs - chats, pictures of visits, phone bill etc. and also send new updated police certificates. I have 2 questions:

1) Does anyone know if sending voluntary additional proofs slows down the process as they may take more time to review the new information?

2) Also do they usually require updated police certificates especially for wife cases?

Hello there,

I am in very similar shoes; I had sent them a voluntary package and was advised by my lawyer that it is not going to slow anything down. But it depends what you will be sending them! I had went back to get the rukhsati and valima done so I had lots of things to send. If you have already sent the things maybe its not required for you to send more.

I think they do require an updated Police certificate but they will ask for it and there is no point of sending that on your own because if the file is not opened for a few months it will expire again.

hi to all . today my MP called to me and she told me we had contacat with CHC islamabad and she told me everthing is fine with my application and she told me the CHC isalamabad will send a few weeks a letter to ur wife addresss but she said i dont which letter she said maybe it re_medical +ppr . inshallah
