Hi foxi987,
Was yours a full wedding and when did your spouse get there first medical. I have the same timeline as u.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted some opinions...my wife has her remed today and will be sending in the Passport tomorrow to CHC-I...considering the overall speed from my timeline, what's the chance of having it back by mid-late August?

I'm visiting my wife soon, that was pre-planned and I didn't even dream of PPR already, what do the seniors think of adding a letter that explains that I'm coming anyways on vacation and it would be ideal from every standpoint that I can take her back to Canada this time? Wouldn't hurt right? To explain circumstance and ask for some consideration?

Timeline:
Jul2011 Apply
Sep2011 Transfer
June 2012 In Process
July 2012 Remed/PPR

Thanks

Hi,

I saw a small error in my mailing address posted on the cic website (it was 24-4-1 instead of 24-A-1 - THIS IS MY KARACHI ADDRESS) and in order to get it fixed, I sent a fax to the CHC-ISL at 92-51-208-6900 and 92-51-208-6913 with the following information.

Name:
Signature:
Date of Birth:
File #:
Telephone #:
Fax #:
Mailing Address:
Email Address:
Return Fax #:

I sent this fax last week and the address is still not changed. I did receive additional information form in April on the same address but just wanted to fix it anyways. ANY COMMENTS on how long they take to process the change of address request?

Also, following is my time. I am starting to get a bit worried given I havent got the request for re-med yet.

Applied: Feb 18 2011
Husband got approval as sponsor: March 23 2011
File Transfered to CHC-ISL: April 2011
Request for additional information: April 16 2012 (received it on April 23rd 2012)
Additional document sent: May 08 2012
Status on the CIC website: "Application received"

COMMENTS PLEASE!

Thanks.

No No No, its not your Job, just forget it and Pray for PPR,

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

They have their own timelines i guess. My address used to have some errors before my status changed to "In Process". I never sent them any e-mail because those were minor errors but this is my experience. You have notified them so it is good. Insha Allah you will get your remed very soon. They have increased their pace so don't worry and pray to Allah with firm belief!

thanks for sharing fozi.. mashAllah your processing was very smooth it seems like.. hopefully rest will be too :)

Wife got her remed done, they're going to send the results. Anyone know how long it takes them to get results to the visa office? InshAllah now its just a matter of 2-3 months more wait till she gets visa.

Funny thing my wife noticed was that all the other girls there (3/4 of them) also had their name starting with Zainab. Maybe they go in a alphabetical order from the first name?
