Hi Seniors,
I received AOR saying submit following documents have check mark , however no point was check marked except three points were highlighted by using highlighter, what does it mean???

Although i received doc request letter with three options were check mark , plz guide me in this matter specially those who received AOR and DOC REQ recently.

I received last month with three Tick mark and I sent them. In your case if is only highlight I guess same thing as a tick mark may be just by deferent VO who is lazy and only highlighted the require documents instead of Tick mark.

MY point is i received two letter , one is AOR and other Doc Req , Doc Req letter has three tick mark but AOR has no tick mark but only three points highlighted,

Oh I received just one 3 page letter or AOR and and tick mark on one of those pages Wait for others what they suggest but I would sent them whatever they tick mark.

Q1 - Well, do it as soon as possible. You really wouldn't want to care about the deadline in this case

Q2 - My wife contacted the doctor who did the initial medical examination for her. The letter from CHC to my wife stated that she had to contact a DMP within 30 days to schedule an appointment. I believe you can do the same, unless instructed otherwise in the letter from CHC?

Q3 - In our case, we were required to have prepaid the courier for the return of our documents. I believe it is the case for all the applicants. At the time of mailing out your passport, you can advise the courier office of this prepaid requirement. They will know what to do.

I did nd it was 2 bags-maximum 23kg for each bag.

I did. It was a very bad experience, because they quite often cancel their connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to Toronto, and you have to wait at the airport for 20+ hours, without a room.

They were very very strict with the size of the bags, and the weight. The best way is to pay $50 extra per piece, and allow 32 KB instead of the 23 KG allowed.

nice airline -- on time -- 2 bas 23kg, hand carry 8kg and a laptop bag -- I stuffed my laptop bag with all the electronics like camera -- wireless card etc

Great airline.. on the way back though my connection flight from Abu Dhabi - Toronto was cancelled.
I had to connect through Frankfurt, with a 20 hour stay at the abu dhabi airport where they gave me a chair to sleep on because I did not have a visa to go outside the airport....
Then I had a further 8 hour transit through Frankfurt, before finally taking the Lufthansa flight home..
I reached home in Toronto 42 hours after I left Isb.....

I wont be travelling via Etihad again, in flight is awesome, but they are not reliable..

aah.. my whole family travels on this airlinebut never experiences this.. but it's good to know this kind of situation does arise.. my hubby wanted to travel on it.. he might change his mind after this

The immigrations officers usually HIGHLIGHT the things they want instead of just ticking the phrases.

PIA has been the best airline for me so far.

Toronto to Islamabad and Return. DIrect flight and reasonable price. Saves me a bunch of time too.

As i reside in Edmonton, I take westjet ($600.00) ----> Toronto( $1650.00)---->Islamabad----->Return.

The best route you can take for this long journey.
