Yes brother Alhumdulilah the case is done and my husband has landed on April 24th but previous order of CAIPS's payment was declined from my credit card for some reason so they sent me an email today to ask for a payment again.

everyone applying for CAIPS --- please note -- do not apply CAIPES if your file is says IN PROCESS. When you send this request, the immigration officer cannot do anything until Capies has been completely ordered -- so be careful -- it could delay iit a little bit ---My Mp spoke with the immigration office and infomred me -- My case is not In Process

I don't think it makes any difference if you get the electronic copy of the notes. If you ask for notes from your file that is in Islamabad, then it can delay the process as they have to copy the notes from the physical file. The electronic notes are extracted in Ottawa through their system in just a few minutes.

Hi,

I applied to my wife in May 2011. Her file moved to ISB CIC in June 2011.
Till then online showing ISB received her file.

In Jan 2012 I emailed to Jason Kenny. I got the reply from Jason Kenny Office to provide more information and FOIP related thing. I provided those info then no news.

In May 2012, I emailed to ISB CIC to get status. They replied with File Number for her wife application and said they sent Acknowledgment on 03 May 2012. But none of us received any letter from ISB.

I am wondering should I apply for CAIPES and GCMS? What is the difference between them. My wife File start with F#######

I am planning to visit her in July/Aug. Please guide me how can I fast her file or at least get the reasonable update.

I don't think it makes any difference if you get the electronic copy of the notes. If you ask for notes from your file that is in Islamabad, then it can delay the process as they have to copy the notes from the physical file. The electronic notes are extracted in Ottawa through their system in just a few minutes.

so people are sending CAIPES to Ottawa ?? not ISB where the file is ?? ---- Aslo do you get Caipes notes right away???

yes we r almost the same time line what do they usually do after re meds is done

so i just recieved a text msg from a friend

that the VO is working on my file and remed + PPR will be sent out shortly

there waiting for some letter from ottowa for clearence due to backlog the delay is happening

Then is it not better to ask the MP to look up the electronic notes if that's all you will get in the mail?
