Could you please tell us when that letter issue date from ISB CIC ??? and did u received it from Normal Mail or Registered Mail ?

ISB CIC email me and said they send Acknowledgement on May 03. But I didn't received yet.

Guys, need your help. Qatar Airways or PIA? PIA gets me there faster and cheaper by $100-$200... What other options are there in this price range? Last time I took PIA, wasn't thaaat baaad but so much noise! :-\ How's Qatar airways? The stay I believe is a 6hour stay in Doha, what can I do in that time?

Note: PIA from Toronto > Karachi > Toronto

Qatar from Montreal > Doha > Karachi > Doha > Montreal

Options are (Ask agent for prices and pick, price is main driver for me):

1) PIA (Plus - Direct flight to Karachi, allows larger luggage weight which is huge plus), if airplane is flying mostly empty then get more relaxed seating in plane, negatives (service not as good, airline reputation has gone down)

2) Emirates (Pluses - stops in Dubai which is nice city, airline known for luxury, flies with A380 aircraft, Weak points - Have to wait at airport in Dubai for stopover), usually more expensive

3) Etihad (Plus - can get cheap rates, not as respected as Emirates but good service, weak points - long stopover in Abu Dhabi which is not fun, airplane is full with little seating space)

Besides main 3 airlines
Qatar Airways - Know nothing about but not known as crappy airline

Turkish Airlines - Know nothing about but I saw lowest rates of the bunch for Karachi flights - someone else can maybe can provide info here

everyone applying for CAIPS --- please note -- do not apply CAIPES if your file is says IN PROCESS. When you send this request, the immigration officer cannot do anything until Capies has been completely ordered -- so be careful -- it could delay iit a little bit ---My Mp spoke with the immigration office and infomred me -- My case is not In Process

but jay u said ur recieved an email saying ur case is in process and is in queue for review by immigration officer? how can it go back from that status.?
and didnt u recieve the remedical request??

Hey, so far nothing yet in the mail....waiting patiently...What forms do we have to fill out??

the forms that u will have to fill out pretty soon are the same that u filled in the initial application. background declaration, supplementary information forms. but let me tell u that u will have to write the same things over and over and over again and again.it definitely make u go crazy but all for meeting your dear hubby !

OMG!!!OMG u guys!! my husband JUST received his PPR we had submitted remed and other docs on April 3rd 2012

And finally today he received his PPR!! It says "Your Visa is ready for issuance"!!! Alhamdullilah!!!!
I cant express how i feel right now!!!!

Just hope Allah keeps helping us like this and he gets to be here for the birth of our first baby!! InshAllah Ameen..

Id share a funny coincidence with u people.. Me and my family flew for Canada on the same date 4 years ago May 24th 2008 I was just discussing with my mom how its our 4 years anniversary in Canada and i was on the fone with my husband when he informed me that someone was at the door and it was the TCS guy!!! OMGGG Thanku Allah!!

Thanku all for being there for me!.. i just hope now the last step is over soon too and he gets his visa in his hands!!!!

thanku so much!!! im glad its almost over but trust me buddy it wasnt so quick.. i applied in December 2010.. these were SOME difficult months.. and being alone in first pregnancy.. going to doc's appointments on my own.. working 50+ hours every week.. wasnt all that easy after all.. but all's well that end's well.. i hope inshAllah everything settles with Aafiyat and Allah makes my wish come true .. i wish that my husband is the first one to hold our son in his arms!! Ameen!!
