WE dont kno how they are workin coz, some from march are gettin good news, jan n feb
but lots of people that are in jan still have no received anything soo far, except for bout 2-3 people

so the first in n first out policy is bullsh*t n they dont go by that at alll
its all depends on your LUCK.

thx mahamq245 and R.Mujgani for reply...

im hoping they just simply give her the visa straight out and not ask for anything else as that will delay the process further. people tell me if they opened my file in feb 2012 i should get the good news by aug 2012. but then again R.Mujgani makes sence also no first come first serve rules apply there...

jus curious is there anyone here who got the visa in 15 months if applied in jan 2011?

sallam , i am a new registered user . i have been following these threads for a while but never had nothing to mention . anyways my file was recieved in Islamabad in December 2010. Just last week i recieved a letter that they need photos, proof of visit , photo copy of a valid passport , new police certificate etc etc. the letter also mentioned they must recieve all these documents within 45 days to finish the process and make a decision . i hope this info help people and my prayers and dua for everybody on this forum that are waiting for any kind of responce .

Its jus all over the place but since you mention it does say in process we can HOPE tht they wont hav a issue and jus ask for her passport In Shaa Allah! R. Mujgani is correct- there are many ppl from oct2010 and dec2010 who havent gotten thr visa yet. ... Lets jus keep our fingers crossed for evryone! :) for ur question if anyone got ther visa within 15months.. my case was applied in feb2011 AOR march2011 and i jus recently got my med n ppr but again not all cases are the same... jus keep praying.. I received my wife's file number from CHI.

Hi,

I've been browsing these forums for a year, salam to you all. Thanks for keeping us in the loop for these processing times. My CHC-I received my file in June 2011, so far it always said "Application Received", assuming they have yet to open the file. I recently took a trip with her to Malaysia and visited her in Pakistan in Dec 2011, I wanted to send this as additional proof of our relationship and emailed CHC-I to find out, how do I go about doing that. I have seen here a few posts where it appears that people think that this is a good idea and have done so.

My question is, when I originally sent the spousal sponsorship package, at that moment I had known my wife for 4 months and sent them phone records, emails photos etc, for that period of time. Is it enough or should I send more proof now and if so how do I go about doing it, since CHC-I has not replied back to email.

Thanks for your advice!

Oh and on a side note, she has also applied for TRV (awaiting response from CHC-I)

Walekum Assalam,

You should send all the proof you collected since sending out the application as back then you only knew your wife for 4 months before getting married. So this is the right time for you to send out the proof.

Write a nice cover letter when sending all the proof and mention all the proof in a list on the letter.

Don't send them anything now, just wait for them to ask for it. Also, you are probably looking at july/August for your wife to be here InshaAllah if everything goes smooth.

Danny bro,
I'm wondering if you can show me a example of nice cover letter. I'm also preparing to send them such kinds of proofs
