halloo . few days ago my satatus changed to decision made and my home address changed to canadian address . my quetion is here if my status changed to decision made they will chaeck my background ? if not but why they dosnt my passport ? any idea ?

you process is complete and you will get your passport with visa back very soon! theres nothing left in your case so they wont delay it anymore... just be ready to give treat to all of us

I reached Toronto, Canada safety on Oct 7, 2012. Alhamdulillah!!. Not much asked by immigration. Everything smooth went well. Airport staffs were very cooperative. Just stamped on documents and passport and they said welcome to Canada.

April 2011 file transfer. Ecas still says "application received". So far all i got from them is AOR

I think everyone is pre-panicking a little bit here.. I might be wrong.. but just because yasirman was asked to fill out the residency questionnaire it doesn't mean all of us will. I think the reason he was asked was because his wife resided in Pakistan with him for multiple months and then went back. So CHC having this information is questioning whether they will settle in Canada or not. I haven't seen anyone else who has been asked to fill out this form. Don't worry InshAllah next step for all re-medicals will be PPR not this stupid form. I hope and pray that, maybe I'm wrong too but just pointing out that it is very likely that next step is PPR so keep your spirits up folks!!

That's true, my case is complicated... Although my wife had a Canadian passport but she was born in Pakistan and went to Canada for the first time in her life in march 2011...

I wish you guys don't have to go through stupid RESIDENCY QUESTIONNAIRE

i m bit worried my application recived on 13 aug but i didnt get any response but people who applied in end of august got approvals.

most important thing which everyone on august 2012 people noted that people who applied from aug 1-9 got responses few got AOR and few got Approval but from 10-13 aug there is nothing then again from 14 aug till 29 aug people got responses.

i hope CIC didnt misplaces mails of 10-13 aug

any suggestion do we have to contact CIC..
and its wife case

I found out recently that one of the member's file was never transferred even though the member was told that file has been transferred. Member found out 5 months later that file has not been transferred. I want to make sure that mine is transfer, should I contact my MP?
