I need help which is on behalf of my friend who has sponsored his family from Afghanistan. They have asked his family or wife to send a police certificate. What is the process of getting a police certificate from Afghanistan. Any help will be appreciated

Contact the Afghan consulate in Toronto and they will let you know how to get one....

Yes you might be right . I got an email from CHc about my husband case which is in their office since November 2009 but still they reply like this:

Dear Client,
This is in response to your email (see below).
Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.

well you're too patient, I don't have this kind of patience. If I were you id go to the MP and tell them about this and tell them to speed it up because its gone over the time frame listed on the website.


I am so tired of this stupid long distance relationship if I had known this is how much trouble...I duno what I would have done. If mine isn't done within the year I am going to give up on this garbage. Why should I have to live with this stress.

i cant speak for everyone but something that i have seen ppl NOT do alot of time is sending money to their partner
in my opinion.
no matter if you are a girl or a guy when you sponsor someone it is understood that you are willing to support the applicant for a long period of time until the other person comes here in canada gets on his or her feet and starts to pitch in his or her share the household budget.

and during the application processing time they actually want to see you do that by sending money to your partner in pakistan.

among the other proofs you should also send your money transfer invoices and the invoices should have a regular time interval between them.

and also in my opinion sending money to someone is a sign of trust, it not only important in marriage but also this is a great way for CHC-I to figure out the reality of a relationship.

this is just a little observation that i made

hmmm you are rite we sign the affidavit of support for the sponsored spouse but i guess they dont want to see if we are feeding them when they are not in canada by sending money to Pakistan... that support starts once they reach Canada... not everyone can send money because of lots of expenses we have in CAnada... :

Well in my case its the other way around! i have been sending money to Canada almost every month, sometime twice a month min 500 and Max 1000 i have been using western union, is that gonna help if i tell them that i have send like CAD 5000 in last 6 months....

I asked my husband too to ask the doctor about getting the tracking # from Dehli Doctor but the stupet doctor didn't give any tracking # , except the receipt and told my husband it will take 4-5 weeks or so to process, however it has been over 5 weeks now

call on the same number u used for the appointment. give them ur file number nd they give u the date of when u did ur medical. they give the track number afterwards not at the time of medical.

i think that's not good my friend

there are alot of reasons why its not good

1. they might think your sending money because you have a money deal going on.
2. if your sending money to canada did you submit you tax papers from pakistan.
3. if your so much stable in pakistan, why would you wana leave everything and come to canada, they dont wana see your canadian wife living in canada
4. most importantly your wife signed undertaking for you if she needs your money then ...... i dont know man

in my opinion your not sending them the right message

Man...Allah forbid but I think these idiots are going to have us all fill out this new Residency Questionnaire form. How about we all just send one now before they send a stupid request for it? that way at least they can do something different like mail out our PPR.

nops i dont think so they will ask everyone to fill out that form...

got my first request in March 2012 for Wakalat Nama signed by Afghani Consultant lol n supp forms with on goin proof. then again they send the same in june supp request calling ma husband saying we are doing background check please refill these sheets since u forgot to add ur sister name lol

jus for one name they asked me to fill all those supp forms all over again, and more on going proof of relationship, they asked again for my visit n coming back (i only went for 2.5 months) ... n since then i am waiting for them to insha'allah send in remed with ppr soon insha'allah its alreadi 22 months

Cool "Demons"...waiting is always difficult, specially in such cases...take advantages of this time visit back home and have fun because hardly you will have such time in future....
