yes, that should be the sequence of everything and i thought the same but my cousin got Police Certificate request after PPR... so we never know what they can require at what stage.... :

I got PCC request after re- medical too, given they are satisfied with everything else, next step should be PPR

if you get to know your spouse (husband/wife) shares everything/every talk of yours with his/her family..what would you do? would you stop sharing stuff with him/her? just a general question..nothing personal

That’s actually a good question; if you are in a position where you spouse is doing this; the first thing I would do would be make them understand why you don’t want them to share things and if the problem continues than I would be vary about what I share, until my spouse is with me. For some people its quite hard to keep things to themselves and this can be better controlled once you are together, as someone else said if you don’t share with your spouse who would you share with but this trust has to be earned and respected as well.

I hope everything works out for us all, may we all be happy with our spouses.

i received the same reply from them in July... so i guess it means your case in processing and i guess back ground and security cheks are being condcuted sooo just wait wait and wait
once they are done the checks you will get PPR InshaAllah!

My wife case has started to crawl finally. My MP has responded back which shows my file is "in process" however online status shows "application received since July 2011 and medical received". It is been 14 months and I am surprised they haven't contacted for ReMedical and Re-PCC. Is it my observation or really weired?

your file is in process and no further action from you is required. they aren't asking for anything additional just yet. For future if you send a request they want you to include the following: applicant's full name, date of birth and file number. And they appreciate if you keep correspondence to a minimum (meaning don't keep emailing them often).
