24 months if you think on a daily basis it is really a long time, if you choose any hobby/game it will be easier to pass.

Thats why I said 95% and not 100%, it is not a false statement. Bestplace4u has also visited Canada last year and other hundreds of memeber have got their's rejected. I am just saying you need a very strong application in order to receive a visiting VISA specially if your PR application is in process.

Dear wes786, i know it is not easy to get canadian visa as our file is already in process. secondly i didn't put anything extra in my application, just my payslips, bank statements, my wifes PR copy and previous canadian visit visa copy. ppl who are applying for visit visa, i would suggest not to put extra stuff. just be true.
someone asked me about when my application was sent. It was sent on 5 Aug 2011.

CHC-I stopped sending AORs after Oct 2010, so no one who applied after has received an AOR.

bro wes i know this fact...but i was trying to awake those dear members here who are being sleeping and really not cooperating in telling all about the latest development regarding their cases...

Most of 2011 applicants come on the 2010 thread also so keep checking that thread on an every days basis as there are 20 pages to read everyday. I am sure you will get an idea

as far as i read info abt visit visa, i came to knw that invitation letter has no as such importance and convincing power which would let the visa officer to issue visa...

the important thing is always to show the strong ties with the homeland so that person will ultimately return back...

you have to show your commitments..
