so how will i get to know that my file has been transfered to CHC I

Your wife should have received that email from CIC Mississauga around February 7, 2012. which says your application approved (hope fully) and file transfer to Islamabad.
In that emails try to find Number like this: F000012345 that is your file number for now.

You welcome I'm glad you find your file number. Now you should always check you status with this file number.
Now game of waiting works like this. These days Islamabad contacting most people in 8-9 month from the transfer date,
Like my wife's file transfer in 3rd November 2011 and we got first letter on June 21st this month.
Mean after 8 month base on that hopefuly they will start initial review on your file sometime in September and you should get Acknowledgement letter (AOR) around that time.

I submited my documents on June 7th CHC got it on June 11th and after that my wife just received call from CHC on June 22nd that she will be receiving re-medical within 2 weeks.

it will show we receieved ur file for PR on feb 27 2012

My wife's case switched to in progress June 5, we haven't heard anything whereas everyone else on this forum seems to have a letter or phone call...do you think there's a problem? My wife doesn't live in a main city so maybe delays in mail? I sent email to CHC-ISB few days ago but I don't know how long they take to respond.

Insha Allah You she will get letter soon only matter of days.
My wife in Lahore and she got letter on June 21st by PK Post even letter dated June 11th. Tuck 10 day to arrive in Lahore from Islamabad.

most likly its PPR + remed

it will take little time

u should apply for gmcs notes it will tell u what is coming

I'll try applying for GCMS...is that right that only I need to apply, my wife doesn't need to put her signature? Also how many weeks do they take to respond?

Inshallah it is PPR and remed...also does it ever happen that they send these items or do other things on file without updating E-CAS...or should I be able to see things happening?

And Khalifah do you mean that if its PPR and Remed at once..usually takes longer?

I would like to ask if anyone else received a call from CHC too???or is it only me. My wife told me that the guy who have called here were speaking in Urdu and was keep saying that the reason why he is calling us is becuase CHC-I want us inform about their steps in regards to our case.

I dont know but my mind and heart keep on telling me that its a positive sign to get a call from CHC now lets see jo hoga ALLAH Pak behter hi karenge Inshallah.
