Initial review completed means that when status changes from "Application received" to "In-process" ?????

"In Process" got nothing to do with initial review. Initial review is done after 9-12 months of the file transfer. While the status on E-case is different, some people have "In process" since the file transfer and some have "Application received" till they get their visa and then it changes to "Decision Made".

You can order CAIPS notes or send an email to ask ISLamabad for updates and they will tell you if the initial review is done usually after a year of you getting your AOR.

They never sent any request to my wife (its my wife's case) . In response of email sent in Jan 2011, to find about the file number, as AOR never received, got the following response

"Your application is currently in process and is in queue for initial review. "

after that i sent three emails but never got any reply not even acknowledgement emails. Only thing happened was, two weeks back Address disappeared and came back three days ago.
