You only need the PCC for your new address (i.e. 2010-now) as they want updated police clearence since the time application was filed. So they only need one made for your latest address where you stayed from the time you applied till now. Hope it clears up any confusion for you :)
But they look at the id and passport copy na- And uspey purana address hai...thats what they make it from :( Thats the address which was on my old pcc too, but since now the pcc format has changed, they now have a duration mentioned on the stay in that particular house! A 'from' and 'to' section...

What a mess!! And I thought we had a very clear solution to bridge the gap between the haves & have-nots called Zakat!
And there must be some solution to fix up the corrupt rulers! What is the educated Pakistani youth trying to do?
There is no such thing as brotherhood or humanity left in Karachi anymore! You leave the house, you won't know if you would come back home! The other day my cousin was just telling he was going home from work in the bus and two guys got onto that bus and snatched everyone's phones and wallets including ladies, told the driver not to stop the bus while they did their job and then after the operation they took off. They all have guns so you can't fight or say a word to them, just do as they say or risk your life!

Police Certificates/Security Checks
A requirement in the Canadian Immigration process is the necessity of submission of security clearances. This requirement is divided into two sections:

Police Certificates

Each Canadian Permanent Resident applicant over the age of 18 is required to provide proof that he/she has no criminal record. A police clearance must be obtained from every country where the applicant has resided for more than 6 months since their 18th birthday.

Most countries, with a few exceptions, issue police clearances. These clearances are sometimes referred to as “Certificates of Good Conduct” or Certificates of “No-Criminal Activity” and are usually valid for an average of 6 months. These certificates must be valid at the time of issuance of the Permanent Resident Visa. If the police certificates expire before the Permanent Resident Visa is issued, the applicant will be required to obtain a new set of clearances.

Obtaining a police certificate is the responsibility of each applicant and Canadian Immigration is unlikely to issue a Permanent Resident Visa until such time as the required police clearances are obtained and submitted.

Security Clearance/ Background Checks

Background checks are carried out on every Permanent Resident applicant over the age of 18. These checks are used to identify criminals and known security threats (espionage, subversion or terrorism). To ensure that the protection and safety of Canada is maintained, various sources are consulted for the completion of background checks, including but not limited to visa application forms, intelligence information, criminal conviction records and immigration records.

Once all information is received, it is carefully reviewed to determine the likeliness that the applicant is a threat to Canadian security. If any questions or concerns arise a Security Interview will be scheduled in order that the Immigration Officer may discuss these findings with the applicant. Failure to pass the background check is grounds for an immediate refusal of the Permanent Resident Application.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) in conjunction with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) administers the background checks. Since Canadian officials confer with other governments, departments and/or organization it may take 15 days to 3 years for the completion of the background checks.A PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA CANNOT BE ISSUED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE CLEARED.

ONE 2 KA 4, no Interview yet? How many months has your case been in the Interview? I think about 6 months now?
I have been in the Interview Queue since I was told back in APRIL 2011, my husbands AOR is from APRIL 2010.
I was told by ISB CHC that we will get an Interview within 3 months from APRIL 2011 and ALL LIES as usual NOTHING.
I am going CRAZY! and so sick and tired of the games they play at ISB CHC.
Jaania, its been 9 months in the interview, on Dec/9/2010 placed in for interview which I found I think on Janaury 5,2011 by email response. Since than as you said all lies as usual no update. However I went PK in June and performed Rukhsati & Reception in 1st wk of July, sent all proofs, ticket copy plus post wedding pictures later on but no words from these MOFOS. I am also sick and tired from their behaviour yaar. Now I am back in Canada and medical is expiring on October 30 If by that time they dont issue visa than after completing university semester in Dec I will go again and will stay there untill get the visa. Its been 19 month's already yaar. :(

My brothers wife received this email from Islamabad for those doing re-medical,

Also note that before you email them that you provide them with your appointment date so they can note that and put a BF'D 8 days after your Appointment to prevent extended BF'D.

Dear Client,

A time extension of 30 days has been granted to you. Please submit all requested items in the specified time frame.

No further requests for time extension will be considered.

True! Other day I heard a dialogue somewhere that This nation is Nation only in Indo-Pak cricket match else they r sindhi balouch punjabi pushtoon & what not.

Pata nahi yaar. There are so many fights between muhajirs and sindhis and balochis and pathans and punjabis that all the brotherhood is just lost :( Theres alot of gap between the haves and the have-nots, leading to a divide created between them. Theres probably no such thing as middle class anymore- either its upper middle class (rich, well off people) or lower class...
Plus, our government is very unstable and literally eating up the country. Even if the social segments work really hard and are loyal to their country, the rulers of the country have created so much frustration...:(

Wow! Really? Good thing these guys arent in India, then they wouldnt have had to put up with Muslim Sindhi, Muslim Balouch, Muslim Punjabi or Muslim Pushtoon. Instead you would be living amidst Hindus, Christians, Sikh, Muslims, Jains, Buddhists...they would have definitely loved that!
