Okay this is a very specific question, I dont know if anyone would be able to help:

I did my O-levels, A-levels then ACCA privately. O + A levels is 13 years of schooling.

Then I did my 3 year articleship. I dont know if those 3 years are to be counted as education or not. Any idea anyone?

Also, during my articles I was sent on 2 month long assignments (that we called 'secondments') to Riyadh, Qatar and Kuwait. Am I supposed to include that under the addressed lived and activities done in the past 10 years??

Hi forum members,

I received the good news today that I wanted to share with everyone. My wife got her passport request today. We are May 2010 AOR and had re-medical requested on June 15th.

I and my wife are overjoyed. Alhmaduillah.

Timeline:
App submitted - March 2010
AOR - May 2010
Re-PCC - May 2011
Re-medical - June 2011
PPR - August 20, 2011

I had a question for people who have already received PPRs. My understanding is that the spouse section of the ppr form is to be left blank as the spouse is already in Canada. Could you folks pls confirm this? Thank you and good luck with your applications.

hmm ok. so two more questions stemming out of this:

1. if I was in company A for 3 years, and sent to qatar for 2 months, how do I enter it into the table:

2006 - 2009 Company A
2007 - 2007 Qatar

OR

2007 - 2009 Company A
2007 - 2007 Qatar
2006 - 2007 Company A

2. Form IMM 5669 asks for addresses where you have lived and the guide clarifies this as 'residential' addresses. So the 2 months of living at a hotel would count as residential?

How much time the embassy takes to send PPR request after RE-Med?
How much response time does CHC-I give to submit the Passport after sending PPR request?
Which courier service does CHC-I use to send the PPR request or re-medical request?

heya..
we're july 2010 AOR. I got my IMM & supplement forms etc request in july 2011. my new police cert had been submitted in may 2011 hence i didn't have to submit a new one. a month later I got my re-med, in aug 2011, which was just a week back.
now, IA if all goes well tu i'll be getting my passport request soon.
good luck and get on CHC's case. if you're the applicant, try emailing them urself as well, instead of just asking your husband to do it.

ans1) depends.. usually 4-6 weeks.. but I know a case when she rcvd her PPR request within a week of getting re-med..
so there are exceptions either ways..

ans2) I think they usually give you 45 days to comply, but the sooner you send it, the better.

ans3) I got my re-medical through registered mail, no TCS or fedex. Passport I've heard they request through TCS, but not sure cz am still waiting for mine.

First of all, heartiest congratulations!!
secondly, could you plix share your timeline? I'm more interested in the time between rcving IMM forms, Re-med and PPR request.. In your case, since there was no re-med; how did the process exactly proceed towards the end?

hi as wes told u ..my husband has re med in oct and his re med was expiring this oct..so i got an email from isl for the 3rd re med !! which was shocking..but Allah ka shuker hai letter ppr ka aya hai re med nhe manga phir se...he was nov 2009 AOR
