Very nice of you to bring this information to the forum! -- Indeed! Please pray for Allah to accept my intentions as well as my Ibadaat! :D

21st starts tonight in Canada InshAllah. For those who are in Canada give as much time as possible towards Ibadat and ask for forgiveness and whatever else that you desire. Remember the whole Ummah in your duas and also pray for Pakistan, Afghanistan and other countries that need help and support.

It varies but on average about 4-5 months if not along with remedical+PPR

haylo.. I was just going through the pages when I saw your post!!
We're also July AOR and Mashallah say I'm done with my re-medical by now.. I was just wondering where you applied from? coz if it's Isb then you should Inshallah be hearing from them like ANY day now!! n I'd suggest you contact them via email.. like weekly contact shuru karo.. cz if you/ your spouse lives in karachi, then there's a high probability of mail getting lost. (I'm saying this cz a cousin of mine used to get her letters either way after the BFD or not at all. Once the CHC called her on her cell to confirm, and then they had to re-send her IMM stuff..) Hope this solves your concern.. In short, start bugging them. They will hopefully respond with a better answer than 'your file in in queue for review' IA.

thank you so much for your concern :) have already ask my husband to email them again.yeah its islamabad.did you receuve any other request before remed?

Ranjah bhai thanks. How are you? any update on your side? Insha Allah will be seeing good update from them. Probably a month for them to open the envelop and than another month in Q for review. :(

One 2 ka 4 brother, I am good Alhumdulillah - thanks for asking!

Recently, submitted chc-i, repcc and proofs of marriage as chc-i sent my wife a letter asking about repcc and saying that our marriage is not genuine (my case was Nikah only case - same as yours). Proofs have been submitted and I am back in Canada.

So CIC Islamabad will get two days off for Eid-ul-Fitr either 31st & 1st or 1st & 2nd depending on the moon sighting...

Okay this is a very specific question, I dont know if anyone would be able to help:

I did my O-levels, A-levels then ACCA privately. O + A levels is 13 years of schooling.

Then I did my 3 year articleship. I dont know if those 3 years are to be counted as education or not. Any idea anyone?

Also, during my articles I was sent on 2 month long assignments (that we called 'secondments') to Riyadh, Qatar and Kuwait. Am I supposed to include that under the addressed lived and activities done in the past 10 years??

MashaALLAH Congrats man
Happy togetherness bro

Hi forum members,

I received the good news today that I wanted to share with everyone. My wife got her passport request today. We are May 2010 AOR and had re-medical requested on June 15th.

I and my wife are overjoyed. Alhmaduillah.

Timeline:
App submitted - March 2010
AOR - May 2010
Re-PCC - May 2011
Re-medical - June 2011
PPR - August 20, 2011

I had a question for people who have already received PPRs. My understanding is that the spouse section of the ppr form is to be left blank as the spouse is already in Canada. Could you folks pls confirm this? Thank you and good luck with your applications.

Hey Maf I was wondering where have you been long time to Maf analysis ;)
looks like David didn't turn out to be friend ;)

OK guys my address disappeared for THIRD time in the last one month may be because I check the status every day like a moron looking for a twisted logic in this process ...........and this is the way ecase status tries to give me a wink ......... by disapperance I mean.... a wink that says ............GOT YAAA STUPID ....... for the first two times I was having some positive thoughts that... someone might have bothered to check my file ............ but this time it could just be a system update ............. that is the only update from side .......... and yes I am Feb AOR means no AOR just application transfer

lol look at it iin this way
This score is because 1 Hubby can have 4 Wives ;D so CHC is trying to make their own sense of 4 wives ;)

Assalamu Alaykum dear bro!

Allhumdulillah I am glad to hear some progress on your filee. Don't see this as a negative thing- I can see you and your wife seem a little disheartened by this request and after seeing other peoples responses to your post some people are also saying this might mean your file is in initial review etc. However, in my humble opinion I think it's a great news it means they are working on your file. When I got this request from them my background checks were done (well my husbands) and after 2 weeks we got re-med and then 1.5 month later PPR so don't dishearten. The last 10 days are here and just kee p your duas going, you're in my prayers ;D
