OK! Somebody needs to pick up a stick and start calling orders..... This place (Thread) was populated by Pakistani's. So, whoever Logs inn here and posts, is an E-ambassador of Pakistan. What kind of impression we will leave on visitors that this is how we live and treat our own people? So what if someone's english isnt UP-TO-THE-MARK, Its not My mother language, nor yours, or anyone around here, So just live with it!. Whoever wants to prove his/her languistics, there are tons of literature forums out there for them to try. Here people ask for help and they get, doesnt matter if its ABC, or 123, as long as your audience understand the message, i think one should be cool with it.

I humbly request whoever oppose to Armageddon to put back their guns in holster and wave white flags. if we dont prove ourselves peacefull here, what are the odds we will do it there in Canada?

Happy day all!

Re: Advice required on letter from ISB - Missing personal history

Hello guys,

seems like a very knowledgable group of people on this forum. I need your advice on how to respond. The reason for a gap in my wifes' personal history (4 months) is purely oversight and a mistake, she was at home preparing for her college entrance exams.

I received this letter from immigration officials asking me to fill out the necessary gaps in personal history in form IMM Section 0008 Question 11.

My concern is in the wording of this letter specifically the use of the words in the first paragraph and the last paragraph.

*** Letter from immigration Canada ***

This refers to your application for permanent resident in Canada. Your application for permanent resident visa has been reviewed. It appears you may not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

Based on the information with your application, it appears you may not meet the requirement of section subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act which states ..

...
....
.....

To be procedurally fair, before a final decision is made on your application, you are being given an opportunity to respond to these concerns and as well any further information within 45 days from the date you receive this letter ..
...

Does this imply they have a negative decision lined up for me ?
  • Should I just fill out the IMM0008 application form and send them the missing dates only?
  • Is it a good idea to send my valima and honey moon pictures along with this?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Welcome to the forum Pal....

Now then, Sub-Section 16(1) states, and i am quoting that here....

By Department of Justice - "Immigration and Refugee Protection Act"
16. (1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.

Now my 2 cents:

You said your wife was preparing for exams/studies. I believe you have to produce a copy of admission/intimation letter issued by university for her enrollment of the exam you mentioned. I believe they do it 4 to 6 months in advance of exams so there is a perfact opportunity for you to kill the Gap, that letter states and acknowledged admission or enrollment of your wife in the university/institute. Make sure that letter is marked and endorsed by Controller admission or registrar of the university/institute and should bare the issuing date, prior to that 4 months period you missed out.

Hope it helps

Re: Advice required on letter from ISB - Missing personal history

Thanks Mafia and others, the only proof really I have of her sitting at home and preparing is her congratulations letter from the university acknowledging her admission.

In addition, do you guys suggest, me sending valima and honeymoon pictures, which is sort of non related to what they are asking?

Did u ask them when they call u for your PPR?

Shouldn't there be a notification once they receive one's medical and/or any other documents? Why do they have to CALL months' later just to show there paying attention...But.....not.. ::)

it feels like Pakistan this week with Tempretures reaching high levels in Toronto 48 celcius with humidity

We sent our re-med about a month ago and still when we email them they tell us that they are waiting for it...I think CIC has this big dark cold room where they throw all the mail that comes in >:( all of our re-meds and other docs are probably crying in that room right now..
