Maximus bhai, how long after the remedical you received PPR? Are you going to FedEx it or TCS?

Can someone who has gone through the whole Passport Request/Send&Receiving Process please post in details the experience and tips. For Example: FedEx vs. TCS, do you get tracking number or not? DO they deliver the passport and documents at home or you have to pick it up from their branch? Do they call you to come pick it up or you track it using the tracking number? Do you have to send the prepaid envolope? Do you have to pay anything when receiving back your passport and documents? etc...

I applied for visit visa by Fedex, it was more comfy as once the passport is returned they call the applicant to pick it up plus tracking id is also available as what i have noticed here with TCS they deliver the passport at your house and if your not there then blah.

Yeah I checked his post history and found out that he did his remedical on Mar 29th and he received PPR on May 25 so yeah 2 months! but thanks anyways..

I applied for visit visa by Fedex, it was more comfy as once the passport is returned they call the applicant to pick it up plus tracking id is also available as what i have noticed here with TCS they deliver the passport at your house and if your not there then blah.

I am aware of the visit VISA process, and am hoping that its the same for PR VISA as well so its easier to track and pickup at the branch once it arrives, but lets see what people have experienced. I don't like how TCS comes to the house to deliver and if no one is home then you gotta hunt your passport all over the city...

So they've been pushing me to apply for a visit visa- saying that the worst is, it might be refused but I should still give it a try. Im not sure whether I want to or not...any suggestions guys? And whats the process/procedure of applying for a visit visa?

Well you can give it a try, but for people on this forum who have applied have seen that 95% of the time it is rejected unless you have a strong proof that you will be returning to work/university after your visit. Below is all the info you need:

Well I have observed a few cases on this and other forum who applied for visit visa and got it. Now strange thing is people really don't apply out of fear of refusal and take it as -ve for case already in-process but on the contrary who ever applied have got it to my knowledge
I suggest if u have the resource then give it a try n be true that you want to visit ur hubby as he can't take off for long from work n all u know

After 2 months. I am using TCS. I also got my PPR via TCS it was in Cash on Delivery Envelope.
