we are planing to submit our application in April. any one can confirm that is it necessary to send educational docs in original????? secondly I am choosing London office for processing since i am here in UK since last 2 years with Pakistani nationality. Any one can advise, is there any additional forms i need to fill out or just fulfill the conditions which are applicable as being a Pakistani national.

You need to submit all original educational documents and marriage certificate,Only if your application will be process at Islamabad Embassy. In your case you are choosing London processing Office then you don't have to submit any originals. Photocopies will be fine.

thanks marya.. just prya for me.. i have my finger crossed!1 i m hopeing to hear some good news as well... :D

hello kanaeem bahi how r u? is ur passport back to u with visa (r u busy now a days tayyari karhe hogain na MASHALLAH SAY)

Thanks for all your kind comments.
Perhaps, I should wait but we can save so much time in the process of waiting for the RE-MED.
They will ask us because we had the original MEDICAL done DECEMBER 2009.
We know the doctor and she will do it without the re-med request letter for us.
Its so hard to wait, I have been waiting for 1 year and 3 months already.
My AOR was dated APRIL 2010 and we are almost APRIL 2011 :(

Not mine, but there have been few applicants here that had initial file numbers starting with B but now it has been changed to F. Below is a whole thread on this issue and if you scroll to page 2 "lonely without hubby" who'se file is at CHC-Islamabad has changed from B to F.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/my-file-number-changed-from-a-bxxxx-to-an-fxxxxx-t60116.0.html

quite alot cases has been transfered over to GCMS. It's not new that GCMS has been introduced, it's been there on CIC's website that GCMS will be implemented by late 2010 or early 2011.

Also GCMS is mandatory to all VO's by the end of this month (March 2011). This is the reason why Visa Offices has been really slow lately.

Here is the CIC Plan

"An independent review completed in June 2009 confirmed that the project schedule is achievable, the technology is sound and the initiative is on track. In June 2010, the first visa office overseas will begin using the GCMS Release 2. Once fully implemented in March 2011, GCMS will provide a single, integrated processing capability for all citizenship and overseas immigration applications."

As far as I am aware, the project ($200+ million) is running late.

Dear Knaeem Bhai and Wes Bhai,
I need your advice.
I have asked my husband in Paksitan to do the RE-MEDICAL from the same doctor in ISB.
Even though we did not get the letter from ISB CHC I still want him to proceed and have it ready.
We re-sent the RE-PCC, Supp. Forms, Family Member Forms & PR application again on FEB 24 2011.
I just want to know if the RE-MEDICAL is done the same way as the original Medical is done?
We can save some time because it is sent to New Delhi which takes some time in the process too.
Please share your comments I will really appreciate it. Take care and wish we all get our VISA's soon
INSHALLAH
It is not recommended that you re-do your medical without request...Embassy sends you one re-medical form (Green colored) your picture on it... you have to take this form to DMP (designated medical physician). Then they will do your re-medical only.. and will send it to New Dehli...you will get a list of DMPs alongwith this green form and a re-medical request... hope it helps

Your file number was changed from B to F?

I was thinking this new system is for new applications only. All old cases are being finalized through CAIPS.

Nope they convert every thing in the new system. This is a software development cycle. All legacy File # will be converted in to the new system. I am currently working for one of the government project, and we converted all the old projects in to the new system.

My wife is a March AOR and she received the same requests in Feb2011. Even though her medical was expired in Jan2011, but did not receive remedical request.

You should wait for them to request your remedical. I know of someone who did it by themselves the DMP did it for them but then CHC-ISB asked them to do it again later by sending another remedical request and they ended up doing it twice so it's better not to take a chance just wait. Remed will only increase the time a little where you have waited for a year and 3 months another 4 or 5 weeks won't kill.

I think his case got rejected the first time. And then later they appealed. That is the main reason behind longer processing time for him.

Congrats bro. Inshallah you will get your Passport Request soon.
