hey all,

I remember once i read on CIC website that don't attach any file in your email as they will not view it or they does not have a software to view the attachments or something like that, but now i cannot find that note on website.

does anyone here know anything about this?

I have sent pdf file attachements with my email (on multiple occasions) and have heard back from CIC stating "the attached document will be added to my file". But I do agree with you are saying I have read this as well.

Btw, I see people asking about Interview Questions and CAIPS Steps. Maybe if humpakwatan can add another sheet for this stuff, in the AMAZING! 8) timeline g-doc that exists. Questions seem to get asked repeatedly.

CanPak all the best. We both sent the proof around the same time. Did your wife's address disappear on ecas? My wife's did and still hasn't returned/updated. At first we got really excited but cannot remember if either anzee or sawera asked if i sent them anything...i said yea, which brought the excitement down but hope was there that they are doing something. I know your not a December 2010 case like Danny, Bacha and myself but i remember someone posted on jan 10th 2012 that Dec cases will be reviewed 4-6 weeks. That would put it around this time area. Lets hope of the best!

Have a great long weekend (the best we can without our better halves) :-[

Thanks for all your kind words and support canadianbear. My wifes address did disappear in December, but re-appeared 3 weeks later. Since then the address has been there. InshAllah, all of us who are waiting will soon see our immigration process come to a successful end.
