I think its very unreliable and disappearance of address has nothing to do with the progress on your case!

disappearing of address has something to do with ur case... this is da sign that they r working on ur file etc..this is not system glitch

also wut cud proof of intent be? flight ticket booked back for canada? wud that be considered proof?

Its takes anywhere from 30-45 days to get CAIPS. If CHC-I knows that your wife/husband is in Pakistan, then they ask for a proof of intent to move to Canada from the sponsor. So its better if the sponsor is in Canada or CHC-I doesn't know that the sponsor is in Canada.

hey all i contacted my mp last week and she checked on my case and they replied that my case is in que to be reviewed my an officer and now my address on ecas is also gone so hopefully i will get news my husband is coming so he can meet his son

CHC can find out weather sponser person in canada or pak thats not problem for them they can check through CBSA and even they can find out wethear sponser is working or not or gone on welfare etc... they can track you down

Some people tell them that their spouse is in Pakistan and then never update them when he/she leaves for Canada, so they ask for the proof. Yes, that is the only way they would know if the sponsor is visiting. Flight ticket confirmation is a solid proof in my opinion. It all depends on the visa officer if he/she is convinced. Usually they do it with most of the girls who sponsor their husband and move to Pakistan till the sponsorship is done and they let CHC-I know that as well for some odd reason.. lol

how do u find out what ur bring forwaed date is??

Caips notes, or u can judge by checking the latest correspodance from chc,,just count the day days they asked u to respond from the date on the letter

per khan sahib ek q hai ek member ne ppr bi send kia huwa hai 1 month se usko mail reply aya ke ur can is in q for initial review ye kia baat hui muje bi same mail ai even mere BFD was 15 jan

Did you send anything to them?

Yea I did. My wife voluntarily sent our pics from my recent visit in Nov, Rukhsati Pics and updated docs on education (degree) in first week of Dec 2011.

You think its cause of that? errr I hope they also send re-med and other requests.

I emailed them on status on Jan 9 and got a reply on Jan 18 or 20th that its in initial review.
