If you are sending them IMM5475, which an "Authority to release personal information to a designated individual", then why do you need a "use of representative" form? BTW, i am the sponsor.

I have one more question, On IMM5475, where they are asking, "if u have already submitted your application", does that need to be filled out as well?

Name of office where the application was submitted?
Location of office?
type of application (permanent residence, extension of study permits, etc.?

Thanks for your prompt response

Sorry that is the one I meant 'Authorization to release information' not the 'Use of Representative' one. I confused the two together.

I sent total 3. One for credit card payment form, one for Authority to release information and one for the request for CAIPS/GCMS via email form.

There is nothing special you have write in the mail, just write your file number and your information. Ask them regarding status and they will reply. Don't send them too many emails, sometimes they asnwer after 15 days. Anyway they are not working on December files yet , I guess

Sponsors visit to spouse will help your case if they ask for more proof of relationship you can send it to them as a proof of visit. (Boarding passes, Entry & Exit stamps, pictures together)

In my experience, trips to spouse doesn't make any difference in your processing time.I have visited my family 4 times in last 15 month and every time ,I sent exit entry stamp, boarding passes and picture to chc-i but process is same, as slow as it could be.

Yeah it will probably not make the processing time of the application faster. But it will help with proving the genuineness of your relationship.
