It is kinda strange that they didn't ask to fill the Supp forms again and Re-PCC as your file transfer was in September 2010 and AOR is OCT 2010. Lets hope they don't ask for Re-PCC after the Re-medical for another background check.

well the thing with the supplementary forms is that i sent them in just before my initial review. i dont know why they didnt ask for the repcc. the mp said they were done with background checks. maybe i shud send it in volunterly?

PRINT APPLICATION FORMS ONLINE, PRINT AND SIGN THEM
submitted bank statements from both of u for the last 2 months
Letter of employment
Passport copy
Attached Immigration application letter
Tax statement
enrollnment letter from the university
The process for visit visa is 3 months

This is why you didn't get a request for Supp forms and directly getting the Re-med. Don't send it Voluntraily or else they will start another background check. For now, if they didn't ask for it then don't provide it. Sometimes sending PCC voluntraily after Re-medical causes delay as they would then want to run a background check again on the applicant. So don't send it to them unless they ask for it

Chances of getting visit visa for spouse, when case in progress, is next to zero. Applicant has to proof that she or he has strong ties with the country from where the application is submitted. It is difficult to prove that, otherwise there is no need to file the sponsorship case. However, it will have no impact on your case.

Dear Wes, thanks. I 100% agree with you and it seemed I have no choice but to wait. CAIPS notes shows everything normal. They just have to keep processing.

Last year a lot of us sent standard letters to Harper, kenny and other minister about the timeline issues. A few applicants tried to go to news reporters for interviews, there were gatherings in GTA to sign petitions but at the end nothing happened. All we got for an answer was that they are working their hardest to unite family on a first come first basis. So the applicants this year can try it again to see if they listen to us this time...

Most of 2009 and early 2010 cases are stuck in longer background checks due to the old agency handling the BG checks so there are a few applicants who are in the same situation as you including saggit bro. All I could advise/suggest is that you order CAIPS to see if there is any unusual activity going on your file. Other than that you can't do much bust just wait like we did MP was useless in my case as well, he told me not to contact him untill the process time acceeds the timeline on CIC website which is currently 24 months they only listen to you during elections. I hate conservatives I never have and I never will vote conservative.

thanks i really hope iam lucky too!!! i just never read that anyone didnt get a repcc request on the forum here so i thought there must be a mistake? :-\

DO NOT SEND ANYTHING VOLUNTARILY AT THIS POINT. THere is a good chance that your remedical request letter will also contain PPR, however not gauranteed. I am just making an assumption because your background checks are done. If you send anything voluntarily now, your file will go to the review queue again and they will do the whole background checks and everything once again which would delay your process. So don't send anything voluntarily now unless asked for...
