I signed 4 Nikah Namas during my Nikah, two English and two URDU both english ones were hand written just like the URDU ones! I got an English and an URDU one both originals and my wife got an english and an URDU one both originals with both of our and maulana's and gawahs sigratures on all of them. They are all the same except the language one is in URDU and one is in English. Anyways, I don't want to debate on this, but how can any one get an URDU one after the nikah if they havn't signed one thats the big question!?

P.S. My Birth certificate is in URDU just so you know They were hospitals who issued URDU birth certificates back in the 80s...

Wes you are right. I also had both and the.English version is not the translation of Urdu ones its same like Urdu where they have blank space for every individual signature. Translation nikahnama is different where u get it done from attorney and stamped it attest it for you and the type writer says SD in it.

PLease don't forget that there are many other who had also applied for the spousal immigration visa, so please keep the language as sophisticated as possible so not to hurt the families by writing something which may be troublesome for the one waiting for the loved ones. Thank you.

When CHCI sent me marriage not genuine letter at that time they specifically asked me to send Marriage certificate issued by Nadra - I am not sure why they asked for it even though I did provide them the original Nikkahnama and English translated copy along with my initial application.

I think in situations, for example, where ruksati is not happened, they do ask Nadra one!

So did you provided the Marriage Registration Certificate than?

Yes I had to get mine attested as well which says SD on it.

So I sent email to CHC Islamabad on Oct 04 regarding about my file No so that I can send more proof of contact but they haven't replied to me yet. I got in approval both UCI and File number starting with F000. I don't know if this F000 is my file number or what does it mean or CHC Islamabad will get back to me about my email.. ???

Yes brother, it is your File number (F0000XXXXX).

They don't send AOR's anymore but its a confirmation that they have received your file and have put it in the storage room so it can collect dirt for the next 10 months or so

Oh man they kept our files in storage room . Its not a storage room. Its a slaughter room where they playing with our emotion and make us mental and sick.
