the same thing happened to me today .... got an e-cas update notice email but when i checked it was the same . Confused !!!

so Doctor khan brother you didnt got any update after that its really dipressing stupid people they are .

eCas is useless to begin with, it depends on the officer dealing with the file but 75% of the time they don't update it. People who have already landed still have their case as "in proces" on eCas. So if you want an up to date status about your case you have to send them an email and then hope for a reply.

Hey guys can anyone tell me, how it works? Can my husband submit his passport in person to CHC-I? I heard you can submit person too. Any idea?

on the letter that my wife recieved it says to submit it by TCH or whatever it's called. Also include the return package as well.

I've told her to scan the letter and send it to me so will let you know more once i read it.

I am visiting my wife in April, so I really hope while I am there, she receives the remedical and PPR together and prefferably come back with me but I know thats asking for too much for CHC-I. I come back to Canada end of April and who knows I have emailed them my request last Friday, but haven't heard anything back yet.

Best part about my visit is that she has no idea that I am coming to Pakistan its a surprise I am so excited and happy to see her after 9 Months.

Enjoy your trip man. I heard it's pretty HOT these days but hope you have fun and safe trip

Thanks, yep it is very hot! But I was there in June/July 2010 so I think I will be alright.

Don't worry man. If you submitted a good amount of proof of your relationship then you don't need to worry too much. If the case is strong, it reduces your timeline by 3-4 months easily... Inshallah
